Lost Without a Friend

Once I was done talking to Aunt Bubblegum I told her I had to go see my friend. She told me when I stopped by again I could meet my Uncle Gumball. I nodded and took my leave with a map that see gave me to help me get where I needed to go. I headed to Marceline's cave to find Max.

It became night quickly. I pulled out my gold sword to be safe. I was so use to having Max by my side. It was lonely without him.

When I came to the cave I walked in and too the house that was inside of the cave. I knocked on they door. No one answer and I heard someone playing bass and singing while someone else playing the drums. Then the door swung up and there floated a boy who look had a simpler hair style as Max.

"I-I'm Tafie," I said blushing. He tilted his head and looked at me.

"Marshall Lee the Vampire King," he said and looked at me with a smirk.

"I'm here for Maximum," I stated putting my sword away.

"Oh your Maxie's slave," he swung the door open and floated in.

"Yo, Maxie," Marshall Lee said as I stepped in behind him. "Your slave is here."

Max blushed and suck the red from the rest of his apple. "She is not my slave."

"Whatever Maxie," the girl said smiling. "But you better come back to jam with us!"

"Yea, yea Marceline," Max said floating over to me.

"Not going to introduce us Maxie," Marceline asked.

"Marceline, Marshall Lee, this is Tafie," he said pointing to them. "Tafie, these are my childhood friends Marceline and Marshall Lee."

"I'm Tafie," I bowed. "I'm Princess Bubblegum's niece."

"Oh my glob your PB's and PG's niece?" Marceline questioned.

I nodded. Max picked me up and floated out with me before they could say another word.

"Why did you leave so fast?" I asked.

"Cause I could."

"Max......"

"Glob what?!" Max hissed.

I looked away and he landed in the ground and put me down.

"Tafie don't be like that," Max started with a sigh.

"Max," I looked down. "Your ashamed to have me around?"

"No," he said hugging me tightly. "I never have been."

"You act as if you are ashamed of me!" I fussed.

"You're a child," he hissed.

"I'm an adventurer! You are so full of yourself!" I stormed off into the night. I started to tear up. He was so hush with me. I wondered into the woods and saw a tiny camp. Their sat to floating blobs of purple.

"And I was like 'Oh. my. GLOB! Samantha did what!' the girl blob said before both of them started to laugh annoyingly.

"Hello?" I asked walking closer to the fire.

They started to scream and throw cans at me. Then a can hit me in the head.

"Ow!" I fussed holding my head. "That hurt!",

They stopped and looked at me.

"Oh your just a person," the girl said.

Once I got a good look at them the only differences was that one had a mustache starting to grow.

"I'm Tafie," I said looking at them giving them a gentle smile. "I'm new to Ooo. I was trying to get back to the candy kingdom."

"Ah well you should wait till like, the mourning 'cause it like, gets dangerous at night," the guy said.

"What are your names?" I asked.

"You don't know who we are?!" The girl said.

"I'm afaird I don't," I looked down sadly.

"I'm Lumpy Space

Princess and this is my brother the prince," she said.

I nodded and quickly took my leave.

I headed back to tree house Finn and Jake lived. I knocked on the door but it was a girl this time.

"Hello I'm Tafie," I said bowing.

"Oh so you're the new girl Finn and Jake was talking about," she said smiling.

"I'm Fionna. Please come in!"

Fionna open the door wider and let me in. She lead me to the kitchen were Jake was playing a game with Finn while a cat sat at the kitchen table with some cards. Everyone looked up at us.

"Oh hey Tafie," Finn said.

"Hey sweet hair," Jake said with a grin.

"So this is sweet cakes?" the cat asked.

"Cake behave," Fionna fussed. "That is Cake."

"Hello," I bowed.

We all sat and around and played games on their game system friend, BMO.

When it started to get super late, they let me stay at the tree house on the couch. Once everyone was asleep, it still didn't feel right. I had gotten use to Max being around. He would cover me up and sit at my feet until I feel asleep. He than when I woke up he would have his straw hat on when I woke up. Finally I went asleep.

When I awoke, the shutters were close and Max was asleep at my feet. I got up and laid him down before covering him up.
