The pixie

It was a beautiful day at sea for the Barker family. The Barker family consisted of four people Dawn, Mary (mom) Mark (dad) and the youngest Victoria. The family was sailing to an island far off the shore of their private beach home where they stay every summer as a family.
Dawn loved sailing on her families ship every summer, the wind in her hair, slight splashes of water refreshing her face every so often, watching the waves motion comforting her. Everything was good until the ship crashed into a giant unseen rock below the water all Dawn could hear was the terrified screams of her family, she didn't know what to do she fled the boat into the water. She watched as the boat got smaller and smaller sinking into the darkness of the ocean. Dawn swam to this unknown island probably miles away from her destination. She lye there patiently waiting for her families arrival, they never came. Dawn had no family.
Dawn realized her leg was badly injured an injury that would require a doctors help. Dawn lye there weeping in the thought of no family. She grew hungry and needed food. As she sit there scoping the area of any sign of food she sees a tiny flash of light scatter across the forest. She calls out,
"Hello, who's there. Can you help me, I need food and I can't stand, my leg is injured." Dawn thinks she is just seeing things until she sees it again.
"Please help me" she calls out desperately. That instant a tiny pixie comes up to her
"If I help you will you promise not to hurt me"
Dawn was speechless, nothing came to her except for that she was "talking" to a fairy.
"So" said the fairy wondering what Dawns answer was.
"What, huh, oh I won't hurt you."
"Ok, I trust you"
Quickly the fairy flies to a bush picks a plant and rips it. White goo aka aloe oozes out of it and the fairy smears it all over Dawns leg.
"What is your name?" Asked Dawn
"Flare Grassyflower, pleased to meet you...?"
"Oh, I am Dawn Barker" Dawn says as Flare raps the leaf over her leg.
"There! That should keep you up for a while!"
Says Flare
"Thank you and um do you know where I can find any food."
"Come with me to my village and I will fix you up something to eat. Plus you can't live by yourself with that leg of yours." Says the fairy in a kind voice
"What happened to your leg?" Asked Flare
"Oh, um I got in a ship wreck" replied Dawn
"You were by yourself?"
"No I was with my family but they um..."Dawn trailed off
"Oh, I'm sorry"says Flare
"It's not your fault (sniffle)"
Flare led Dawn to the village but the village wasn't what Dawn expected. It was a tiny crowd of tiny houses that are perfect for fairies of Flares size. Flare apologizes for the size of the houses but Dawn doesn't mind because she thinks it is amazing! Instead of Flare making a meal she directs Dawn to fruit and materials to make clothes and weapons. A few minutes after  Dawn has eaten and came back to the village Flare screams they are coming and rushes Dawn to hide.
"Who's coming!" Asked Dawn terrified
"Shh, they can't know you are here or they will kill you."
After hearing that Dawn listens to Flare and goes exactly where she tells her to. Dawn peeps through a hole in her hiding spot and sees several large pirates.
"Hello fairies have you got any pixie dust for me. It doesn't matter if you don't because at dusk me maties and I will raid your land and take your precious pixie dust. Me ship will be faster than ever."
"You'll never get our dust we will fight you."
"You think you tiny little things can fight me? Hahahahahahahaha!" He cackled "Well we will just have to wait and see about that." And he smirked and disappeared into the cold dark woods just like his soul.
"Who was..."
"That was captain silver teeth aka Floyd Smith." Flare interrupted "He wants our pixie dust so his ship can fly so it will be easier for him to steal"
What the girls did not know was that at that moment two of the captains crew members were spying on them and would soon tell silver teeth of Dawn. Later that night as Dawn and the fairies were sleeping the two crew members from earlier snuck into the field and kidnapped Dawn.
Dawn screamed but the Pirates covered her mouth and no sound came out. She fought and struggled but the Pirates were to strong, it was no use. They had arrived at the boat and she saw immediately the terrifying face of silver teeth.
"Hello girl, there hasn't been another human being on this island for years, where is the pixie dust?!"
" I don't know"
"Really, TELL ME WHERE IT IS!!"
"I don't know I came to this island injured because I got in a shipwreck and my family died leaving me all alone and a fairy came up to me and helped I really don't know where it is, please let me go I am telling the truth"
Back at the field Flare woke up only to realize her only hope was gone. She looked everywhere and begin to think could she really trust Dawn. Then Flare hears coughs and rushes to the noise and finds three humans a woman a man and a child. She thinks Dawns family.
"Do you know where Dawn is!"
"Dawn is here she is alive" he answers
" You don't have her?"
"No, do you?"
"No" Flare answers" (Gasp) "Oh no! I know who has her. Do you know how to fight?"
"Um"
"Let's go!" They follow Flare and she hands them each a sword and a shield.
Back at the ship Dawn was tied up to a pole squealing yelling and hurting.
At the field Flare is yelling to everyone
"Get your swords and anything you can fight with! Dawn is in trouble but we have her family right here to help! Get ready! THIS IS WAR! EVERYONE... FIGHT!
The whole group of fairies rush to the boat Dawns family following behind them. When Dawn sees her family her eyes widen and all she uses all her strength to rip the rope holding her hostage she runs to them grabs an extra sword and starts fighting the whole pirate crew has nothing to fight with because they had no idea the fairies were coming. The barker family killed two pirates and all that was left to kill was silver teeth. The whole group of fairies and the family charge at him he runs into the sea not knowing how to swim leaving him at the bottom of the ocean with the barkers family boat.
Dawn was glad to have her family back but sad to have to leave Flare. The fairies built a boat for the family and they sailed off back to home waving goodbye until they couldn't see them anymore but before they were gone Flare flew as fast as she could to Dawn and gave her the biggest yet smallest hug ever.
