A young 17 year old girl named Emily woke up very early in the morning due to her phone vibrating. So she got up to take a shower and when she returned from her bedroom bathroom to her bedroom, she realized that the TV was on without the cable box on.
She didn't understand if it was on before she got in the shower or not. She rolled it off her back and went into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. She went to the gym, and came back, when she realized that every light, was on in the entire apartment. She kinda freaked out and called her sister. Her mother passed away the day before this happened. She told her sister she was freaking out and started sobbing. Her sister thought she was talking about their mother told her that she is in a better place. Emily  started to question her what she was talking about and who was in a better place. Her sister asked if she  knew. She asked "knew" what. Her sister explained about their mother's death. Emily started to cry uncontrollably and hung up on her sister. Her sister texted her that she'll be okay and that their mother will be better. Emily texted all of her friends, including her boyfriend, what had happened to her mother. Emily's mother was in a car crash but that was not how she died. The police closed the case but she really died due to a gunshot  and the car spun and that caused the crash. She told everyone and no one texted her back exempt her boyfriend, Nathan. He told Emily he was very sorry and that he would call her later. Emily felt better after that but her friends didn't respond still.  It was in the middle of the day now and she made something to eat and went in her room with it and turned the TV on. She realized that the cable box was already on so she climbed in bed, ate her food, and fell asleep with the TV and light on, and door closed.

She woke up at night and her light was off, Her TV was off, and the door   cracked open. She thought someone  was in her house. She got out of bed slowly.., opened the door completely and looked around scared. She felt a cold breeze flow through the house and realized that the living room window was open completely and went over to shut it. She starts to pull it down and it falls down by itself almost hitting her hand and fingers. She then freaks out more and then goes for the phone to call the police. She then realizes that it's disconnected and the wire is cut from the outlet. She freaks out and remembers her cell phone. She grabs her cell phone and tried to call the police. Her cell phone was half charged but she had no service. The lights went out due to a sudden storm afterwards. She then has no flashlight so she uses her phone's flashlight. The front door is cracked open and the thunder is getting louder. Her TV automatically turned on with a tornado warning, coming straight over the part she lived in Oklahoma. She then goes into the basement. As she walks down the stairs, nervously, she falls. She injured a left arm and calls for help. The basement door closes. She asked while crying and bleeding if anyone was there. She then heard noises..

                  The boyfriend cried.
He then called the police and they were on their way. He then stays in the basement and hears the door shut. He thought it was the police or the wind from the storm outside the door. He bangs on the door yelling for police. He turns around..

The police arrive looking for the dead girl and the caller. They look everywhere and one police man goes into the basement and finds the caller and the girl, both dead. The police assume that it was a murder case. Before the case was closed, they talked with the Emily's sister and friends. The friends felt bad they didn't answer her texts or calls but they never cried. Her sister cried and told the officer what happened that night that Emily's sister, Lizy, was aware about, which was only the 1 text and call. The case was closed 1 week later. That apartment was considered haunted for next 40 years after Emily died.

1 year later, Emily's sister, Lizy committed suicide due to depression of Emily's death. Lizy was found hung in her own basement.
