Escaping

     I woke up to the sound of a knock on my door. I stand up and drag myself out of bed to answer it.

     "Good morning princess Crystal. The king has requested that see you. Please get ready. I will be back in 5 minutes."  One of the servants says then walks away.

    I close my door and go into my closet. I grab a short  flowy lavender dress and white flats. (picture on top) I put my long wavy brown hair up in a bun and did my makeup. Just as I finished I heard another knock on the door. I open the door to see that the servant had returned.

     "Are you ready princess?"

     I nodded and I walked out of my room and she shut the door behind me. We went down the long stairway to the throne room where I saw my father.

     "You wanted to see me?" I said walking into the room and standing in front of him.

     "Yes I need to talk to you. Do you know of prince Henry of Craydon?" My father asked me with the same bored stern face he always has.

" Yes I have heard of him. Why?"

"I have talked with his father and we decided you will marry him."

I stood there in shock from what he just said. " No way! I don't even know him!" I yelled.

"You will marry him and until you do I am locking you in your room." He said as two tall men come into the room and grab my arms.

"Let me go!" I screamed but they simply just covered my mouth and brought me to my room. They then threw me on the floor and shut and locked the door.

     It is now 12:00 pm I decided that tonight I would run away. I packed my stuff and opened the window. I climbed down the vines and onto the ground then I ran and I kept running until I was far enough away from the castle. I decided to sit down and rest for a while. I laid down and closed my eyes only to immediately open them because I heard a sound. I looked around and I didn't see anyone so I went to lay back down when I heard someone say

     "Ow!" Followed by a " Shhhh."

     I got up grabbed my stuff and ran into a nearby cave.

     "Look what you did. You made her run away." A raspy male voice said

     "Don't blame me your the one who stepped on my foot. Anyway it doesn't matter I saw her run into that cave over there." Another strange male voice said.

     I looked around and saw an exit on the other side of the cave so I wen through it and ran again until I came upon a temple I could hear the men coming so I went inside.

     "She got away." One of the men said.

     "Oh well let's just go home." The other said.

     Once I heard them walk away I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

     "Well I think I will sleep here for the night." I said and laid out a blanked and drifted off to sleep.
