Chapter 1

"Ariana!"  "Five more minutes" I yell back. I did not want to get up I had stayed up all night and it was 8:00 in the morning. I heard Ely running up the stairs to my bedroom. Five seconds later i felt Ely put both legs on each side of me. "You asked for it" I begin to scream and laugh as hard as I possibly could as Ely runs his hands up my sides tickling me. I struggle to push him off of me. As soon as he stops I push him off causing him to fall off the bed landing on the floor. "Hoe" he says with laughter in his voice "Get ready we're going out"  he says with a big grin on his face.

Ely is my best friend. We've known each other since we were 4 years old. Our moms are also really close thats how we met. Ever since 7th grade when Ely told everyone he was gay I was the only friend of his that stuck around. Ever since then we became inseparable.

I get out of bed and head to the bathroom. I turn on the warm water and start to get undressed. I hop in the shower and I can hear Ely blasting music through the speakers. I sing along to the alternative music he decided to play. After what felt like forever I turned off the shower. I brushed my teeth and put on a bra and underwear both black with a lace design. I walk out to find some clothes. Noticing Ely is just wearing a dark gray v-neck for men and some dark black jeans I decide to keep it causal. I put on a loose fitting black crop top and some high wasted shorts with a flannel around my waist and my favorite pair of combat boots. I decide to straighten my hair and apply some make up. I apply some thick mascara, winged eyeliner, a matte nude lipstick , and some highlighter. "I'm ready" Ely looks up from his phone wide eyed "you look awesome, as usual" "why thank you" I say with a confident look to my face. "Ummmm....I was wondering if it would be fine if an old friend of mine tags along with us today" "yeah sure why not. As long as I don't have to be alone with you" i say as i wink at him. "You're such an ass" he says placing his hand on his chest pretending to be hurt. "Lets go" he says rolling his eyes laughing as he pulls me all the way to his car. We both get in and we head towards the mall to start our day.
