United Elements

Prologue

In a magnificent kingdom known as United Elements the villagers , merchants , guards and Rulers all lived in harmony. The kingdom was divided into 4 grand sectors one for each current Ruler to rule upon. At the entrance of the Kingdom , there stands 4 pillars forming a circle, each with delicate engravings that would represent each element that the kingdom currently had which were Ice, Water, Air and Fire. Each current element had a ruler, a leader usually the most powerful of that element. It would be no surprise that those of the direct bloodline of the first elementals, who are known as The Elemental warriors, would gain this title as leader. At this time there were 4 little children all born into different elements which were the daughters and sons of these leaders. Avery the daughter of the Water leader, Gabriela the daughter of the Air leader, Payton the son of the Fire leader and Katelyn the daughter of the Ice leader. Years go by and these children with great destinies turn 15.They have spent their entire lives learning how to manipulate and use their powers and how to even fight with them. They even became just as powerful as their parents. During this time, the villagers demanded for the leaders to make a difficult decision...and that was to break the bonds between each other and to start as separate kingdoms. In honor of what their ancestors worked hard for the leaders had refused this demand which has started a civil war and had cost them their lives. The leaders were poisoned during dinner one night, while they ate at the tables and their children had come back from a training session only to find their parents dead.After the villagers had seen what had happen, the civil war ended. The criminals that had poisoned the leaders were killed immediately by the guards that had entered the room right after the leaders had ingested the poison. Each heir had a different way of coping with the loss of their parents. Gabriela spent her time in her fathers study reading from the ancient history books he would read to her. Avery tried her absolute hardest to keep a bright and positive smile upon her face for her people, but everyone knew deep inside she was hurting just as much as the others were. Payton had kept to himself , away in his room and Katelyn had spent most of her time at the training yard lashing her powers and strength at the training dummy in anger and sadness . Avery had decided that this time of sorrow was enough. They only had each other now so she gathered Gabriela, Payton and Katelyn and had a talk with them.

"Its okay to cry.." she says directing herself to Katelyn, who gave everyone a cold look.

"A warrior never cries..."Katelyn responded,

"At least we have each other.." Payton said.

"Yes at least we do...Our parents did the right thing, they didn't separate the kingdom... if they did we would be weak and in need of help, but together we are united and stronger than can be!" Gabriela responded.

For the first time in weeks, Katelyn had smiled. Which lead to Avery, Payton and Gabriela to smile even brighter.

"I guess Strong we are apart... stronger we are united" Katelyn said.

"You're right Kate...You're right" Avery said.
