RYTHIAN'S POV

Just a normal day. Gah. I hate the boringness of this world, the last one was so full of life, people, friends. And science. Horrid polluting science. Does no good for this world.

I'd just been mining, and I'd built a boat and made my way over to some new chunks. The last area had no character. Just a bunch of wood. Admittedly, this area wasn't any better, but I could feel that something big was going to happen.

That feeling got stronger as I passed a large lake. I ignored it at first, and continued on my way, just checking out the surroundings and gathering some food on the way. Maybe stopping to make some new dark matter.

As I passed the lake again, I stopped.

"Oh gosh. Ok. Ok. Lets do this." I heard a voice say. It sounded familiar, a girls. I got spashed with water, and looked into the middle of the lake. I could see some bright red hair floating to the top. I started swiming towards the middle to help her out, but she'd already started floating by the time I got there. I could see her more clearly now, she had a faint red birthmark on her face, and two bright blue eyes.

I quickly helped her to the side of the lake, where she coughed up a bit of water.

"Hi," I said, trying to appear calm. "are you Zoey, from the old world?" I asked.

"Yeah, you must be Rythian" She said, calmly.

"How did you get here?"

" I don't know, there was lasers and explosions and I was on fire and..." she gasped, "Barry.. My prize mushroom I spent literally two seconds cultivating!" She cried.

"Yes zoey, I'm afraid that Duncan and Sjin had a little arguement and blew up the old world." I said.

Her bottom lip wobbled, and I let her lean on my shoulder and cry for a bit.

This was the last thing I needed, a follower. I had a hard enough time fending for myself let alone two people. But I suppose, after bargaining with Sips and Sjin I had nearly enough to make a condenser, she could come in useful. Also it wouldn't be as boring with a partner. I wandered if she wanted to become my apprentice. Save her from the pain of science.
