"Have fun at camp, honey!" the middle-aged mom yelled out her open window. She was one of many, but still stayed a. bit longer than she should've to watch her eleven year old son walk to the main hall.

A car honked behind her and she drove off, her window rolling up as a tear rolled down her face.

It would only be a week, maybe he'd even make a friend! God knows he needed more of those.

The boy--a bit smaller than the others his age--wasn't sad at all about being away from his family for a sacred week. He was the oldest of his siblings and his parents expected much more of him than he could meet up to, all the classic struggles of the pre-7th grade emo phase life. (idk what grade eleven year olds are in all I know is it's before seventh grade I skipped a grade give me a breAk)

After meeting up with the counselors and being told where his tent was, the boy walked over to the green canopy with a number "4" written on a piece of tape on it. As he pushed apart the tent flaps and let his eyes adjust to the darkness, he saw another boy sitting on the bed in the left corner.

The boy looked similar to Tyler, boasting the same hair colour and style and a nose shaped the same. In fact, they could've been twins if it wasn't for the slightly darker eyes and slightly larger shape.

"Hello! I'm Tyler Robert Joseph but I just go by Tyler," he introduced himself. His little hand gestured to his little chest, as if explaining that it was indeed him who was Tyler. "I'm eleven but I know I look smaller but I promise I'm eleven I'm gonna turn twelve this winter!"

"Hello," the boy said in a slightly deeper voice. "My names B."

"Just B?"

"Yep."

"Are you eleven, too?"

"Yep."

"Can we be friends, B?"

"Sure, Tyler Robert Joseph."

"I just go by Tyler."

"I heard."

okay so I know this is probably pretty bad but it's just an intro right also the story will take place in Tylers teen years.
