The Changing

Beep beep beep..........Ugh, My alarm clock has been going off for along time. This will be the second time I've hit it this morning. I'm so not ready to wake up. I was up really late last night writing a paper on the civil war for my advanced English class. Because my brother Jacob was messing with my computer and "accidentally" deleted the paper. So then I had to redo the paper last night. I am so going to kill him when I see him later!!
Octavia, Octavia!!!! , my mom calls. Yes mom?? Octavia it is 7:00am school starts in an hour you had better hurry up!!!!! Crap!!!! I over slept!!!!!
I get up and go to my closet and look through the variety of clothes I have in there. I decide on a cute pair of jean shorts and a v-neck blue blouse with ruffles. I head into my bathroom and take a quick shower. After I dry off I slip on my outfit then my socks followed by my black high top converse. I looked in my mirror and decided to put on some light makeup as in mascara and lipgloss just to make myself look presentable. I'm not a big makeup lover. One time my friend iris did my makeup for 10th grade prom. I freaking looked like a drag queen! Yikes!!!! I double checked my appearance and decided I didn't look half bad. I grabbed my backpack and computer from my side table and rushed down stairs while stuffing my computer in my bag and rush out the door.
My mom called out the door asking if I needed breakfast. I never miss breakfast, I believe breakfast is crucial to your daily diet. I called back to her and told her I didn't have time because I was going to be late for school. I have never been late for school never!!!! I jumped in my car and fumbled for my keys in my purse then I put them in the ignition and crank the car. I am 17 in my junior year of high school, so I have been driving about a year and a half so I'm pretty good at it. I look at the time on my phone, oh my gosh it is 7:55 I'm going to be so late. My school is 15 minutes away from my house. I was driving so fast, I didn't even realize how fast I was going. I look down at the speedometer and I am going 85mph!!! Wow!!!!! I've never went that fast before!! I look up from the speedometer and there is a man in the middle of the road!!!!!
I swerve in order to avoid him I lose control. I try to gain back control of the vehicle but it's to late. I hit the bank on the side of the road and went up in the air. I held my head and screamed as the car flipped multiple times before it finally rests upside down. I open my eyes as I think am I dead. I look around and see all the broken glass and blood, oh my gosh blood!!! I start getting woozy and everything gets fuzzy. I look over out of the window as I'm panicking and see a pair of feet walking towards me. I try to call for help, but that is the last thing I see before I am swallowed by the darkness and I blackout.
