Katherina's Point of View

I stared at my ceiling for who knows how long. I've been awake for nearly ten minutes now. Tilting my head to the side, I looked at my alarm clock. '6:48 am'. I sighed and sat up, gently removing the blanket away from my body. I looked at my legs and jumped off the bed gently, trying not to wake anyone in the house, though I know the servant had woke up doing their chores.

I gave myself a good stretch and headed to the bathroom in my room. Twisting the tap and adjusting the temperature of the water to the perfect one, I let it ran into the bathtub, filling the tub. While waiting, I went back to my room and made my bed neat, though I might ended up laying on it after bath. Glancing at my desk, a small smile crept on my face as I saw the item I got from a friend of mine.

Father and Mother were a friend of a rather famous man named Tony Stark. Yeah, the flirtatious man. I was one of his 'victims' but, luckily my parents were protective over me. I never enjoyed that side of him and would sarcastically commented on his actions, though I know he understand yet he pretended to not. We became friends short after we met. Just friends.

The beeping sound from the bathroom snapped me out of my thoughts, when the water had reached the line. I quickly made my way to the bathroom and shut the tap off. I felt the temperature of the water and nodded as I stripped out of my nightgown and dipped my leg inside the water before putting my entire body inside. I let out a satisfied sigh and soaked in there for I don't know how long.

While in the bathtub, my mind wondered about what my life had been ever since I graduated from my studies. I never had anything in mind after graduation, yet now I'm a part of the pianist and artistic people. I had no idea what should I be. My parents told me that I can be whatever I want, which is probably the hardest choice to make. The only thing that I need to know was, whatever I want to be mustn't involved any hard physical work.

No, it's not because that I'm the only daughter in the family or whatsoever. Keeping a secret from the entire world wasn't easy. Each time something went wrong, I need to tried to put on an act, so no one would be suspicious of me. Why did I kept a secret from the world? I might as well die one day, and I want to live along side with my family until then. If I was to revealed it, I might lose my parents first. I don't want to be alone, regardless what it was.

Stepping out of the tub, I pressed a button, letting the water drained away. I covered my body with my towel right after I dried my body from the bath. I made my way to my closet and opened the doors, revealing all my clothes. I thought for a while on what should I wear for the day, before picking out my white lace crop top and a pastel pink skater skirt along with a tattoo-print thighs and my favorite pair of boots.

I placed my clothing choices on my bed and dried my long slightly wavy hair as I sat at my makeup table. I looked at my reflection on the mirror after my hair was dried. A chuckle escaped my lips as I looked at how funny my hair became. Grabbing my brush, I began to brushed my hair before putting on my clothes. Once the clothes were neatly on my body, I sat once again at my makeup table. Staring at my cosmetics items on the desk, I began to do my usual makeup routine before going for a soft makeup look. Styling my hair afterwards, I went for a long with a deep side part.

Once it all done, I smiled on how I currently looked. I stood up and looked at the clock. '7:57am'. My eyes went wide as I realized how long I took to get ready. Well, I did slacked off during the process. Shaking my head, I went to my desk and looked at the books and my gadgets. I squatted and looked at my smartphone, wondering if I had any message from my friends. All I got was notifications from Twitter, Instagram and my other social medias. Most of them being likes and new followers.

Just when I went through the notifications, someone knocked at my door. I quickly off my phone and placed it on the floor and stood up, making my way to the door and unlocked it, pulling the door inwards. I looked at the person in front of my door and smiled as it was one of the servant, or whom I liked to called as my friend, Hannah. She's around my age but older, I guess. The only reason she's here must meant that it's time for breakfast.

"Let me guess, breakfast?" I said as I looked at her. Hannah smiled and nodded. She couldn't talked like the rest of the servants. I nodded and walked over to my closet, where I had my fluffy pink slippers placed. Putting them on, I exited my room and looked at her as she smiled and followed me to the dining room, where my parents were sitting with the breakfast on the table. I smiled and greeted both of my parents.

"Good morning~" I chirped and sat down beside my father and in front of my mother. Father looked up from his iPad and smiled before looking back to the gadget, probably reading the news. "Good morning, Katherina. How'd you sleep?" Mother asked as she looked at me while having her half boiled egg and bread. "I slept soundly like a baby, mother," I smiled and looked at my breakfast that the chef had made. A peach yogurt oatmeal parfait along with my favorite bread, croissant with butter and kiwi-orange-mango juice. Obviously, freshly squeezed by him.

I began to eat my breakfast while having some small conversation with my parents. Well, mostly with my mother, since father was too concentrated on the news he read. After my food finished, I wiped my mouth as some juice dripped down at the corners of my lips. "Katherina, are you still being stubborn?" Father asked as he finally placed his iPad away as he looked directly at me as he sipped his coffee. I looked up and closed my eyes as I sighed. "I told you countless time. I don't need anything. Just some simple medicine would do," I stated and looked at both of them as they looked at each other.

They have been questioning me about this every once a week. My answer had always been the same. Nothing could changed my mind up until now. And hopefully nothing will. I saw their worried eyes, and I'm still being stubborn. They were simply worried about my future and safety along with my health. Yet, their daughter wouldn't care about her own well being. I stood up and went back to my room. I looked at the clock and went to my desk and grabbed my phone, putting it into my bag, before taking my boots and walked out of the room.

I bid my parents good bye and went to the entrance. Placing my boots down, I put them on, before tapping them slightly to make sure that they're perfectly matched with my feet before exiting the mansion. I looked at the family driver and told him that I would drove myself. He did resisted at first, but I kept saying that I would be fine. Well, after convincing him that took nearly fifteen minutes, he finally gave in. I grinned and made my way to my white Nissan GTR 2025 that I received from father after graduation.

I went inside and placed my bag on the passenger sit. Taking the keys out from my bag, I started the engine and let it ran for a while before drove out of the mansion area. I needed to go to town for a meet up with my high school friends, before to the studio where I helped teaching some pianists and artists.

I just hope everything went well for today.
