I lay on my bed in my small apartment in Seattle, Washington and quickly fall asleep.
But my dream isn't a dream it's a flashback...
I walk inside the house after coming from the 10th grade bus and as I'm about to yell "I'm HOME!" I hear Red and mom talking.
"I'm sending her back." Mom said
"No mom please you can't!" Red pleaded in my defense
"She. Is. Going. Back. To. The. Orphanage!"
I knew this was gonna happen, I though as I quietly ran upstairs and got my emergency bag of all the essentials:
Money
Food
Clothes
Phone
Laptop
Notebook/diary
Pencil
That's all I need
I tore a piece of paper from my notebook and quickly scribble down a note:
Red,
I love you but I can't go back there. It's terrible. Meet me in Belveiw in 5 years.
Love you,
Ally
I placed the necklace red gave me on top of the note and put down my backpack. I grabbed my babe and rushed out the door never looking back
I jerked up.
I wonder where Red is now. I sighed as I heard my phone go off.
A text from Adam
Adam: hi!
Me: what's up?
Adam: come to the offices!
Me: ok but y?
Adam: JUST COME
Me: fine
I groaned as I got up to get dressed and hopped into my car.
