OverWatch was a team of heroes where each day they would risk there lives pushing a car or standing on a point. But rarely every once in awhile there would be a day where there was no crime to be Defeated . No organizations to be stopped, No places to blow up. Just a day to do whatever are heroes wanted to do. This was one of those days.
Genji stood next to the door of his room and looked at his fellow friends and team mates that had not already left there main base . The cyborg had nothing else to do but just watch and see where they where going or what they where doing. He looked to his left and saw the winter scientist Mei and explosive maniac Junkrat talking to each other, probably about there next date or something like that which Genji did not want to get into. Over to his right was the space gorilla and test pilot other wise know as Winston and tracer. Tracer led ahead holding a baseball glove and blinking to each wall in the hallway in seconds while Winston held a ball. He smiled and remembered that the 2 where going out to play 1 mile catch where Winston would throw a ball as far as he could and tracer would try and catch it before it hit the ground. "I swear they are a match made in the heaven" Genji said before looking out the window and seeing his brother shooting arrows at a target his smile went away right then. He and his brother where grateful to have each other but in the month that They has been working with Overwatch Hanzo still had different views then Genji did and still would not feel that the man encased in a machine was his brother. "What'ch looking at cool green ninja dude" said a voice next to him. The man looked to his left and saw the Savior of many and himself or as most people called her mercy. "Doctor Ziegler! What are you doing here?" Questioned Genji as he looked at the doctor in front of him. "Genji you've been here for a month call me Angela" She said with a smile. "Well sorry for me showing respect to the one who saved my life" Genji stated in a sarcastic tone, "So whats with your new set of apparel?" Genji felt it weird to see the healer in a different outfit that did not look like a angel but rather a white jacket and orange shirt. "Well I have no work to do and no heroes to bring back from the dead so I thought I would take a walk. You're free to join me" Mercy offered "I would happy to" Genji said with a bow then began to walk with mercy.
There walk consisted of the 2 agents talking about overwatch, the relationships of some of there other agents and what they both are gonna do when overwatch is over and all crime is gone. It was all normal until mercy asked a simple question. "Hey can i ask you a ques...never mind it was stupid" Mercy said nervously. Genji gave her a confused glare even though his helmet prevented anyone from seeing his face. "To me any question can be great as long as it is asked" Genji said a little bit of his training with zenyata kicking in. "Um..Ok i was going to ask you if you could have anything in the world what would that be and i just thought since i changed you into a new person that you struggle living as you would want to be normal again because thats what i would want if i where you and i probaly would hate the person who did that to me" Mercy said mumbling and rambling at the same time. "What, What, Mercy calm down" Said Genji grabbing on to mercy shoulders stopping her in her tracks, "What are you talking about?" "Genji...I'm sorry its just for a while now I've been thinking on how you are now a cyborg and can't be like how you where before and for me to do that to someone I just..." Mercy began crying. Genji was surpirsed. one minute they where having a nice walk and next Mercy was crying. "Angela...Angela ...Come on now look at me" Genji said in a low tone. "Thats what I mean Genji! When I look at you all I see is a man that I turned into a weapon!" Mercy yelled taking both her hands and cupping them over her eyes. Genji did not think about all this. He did not think Angela Would turn saving his life into making him miserable but he was still a man inside and he had come to terms with what he was. And if she would not see that he could have to show her. Pressing a button on the back of his helmet a bunch of steam came from the cracks of his robotic head he put his hands up to it and pulled the helmet off showing scared face of a man he once was. "Angela look me in the eyes now" genji said taking her hands away from her face showing her what the man in front of her could have been, "Listen Angela I did not think you would think up such a terrible story. You see I may be a machine but i have come to embrace that and remeber that i still have humanity in me and my answer to that question is to re live my childhood" Mercy began to stop crying and wiped the tears from her faces and looked at genji puzzled. "Doctor Ziegler i would rather do more in my past then change my wonderful future. If you had not made me what I am I could not change my actions on what i was, reunite with my brother, And of course meet You" Genji explained holding mercys hand but before he could say anything else mercy jumped up onto him and gave him a big hug. This embrace was weird to genji because he had not felt anything like this in awhile but he gave his embrace too. After what felt like a minute or two they both pulled away and mercy blushed a tad bit not realizing that they had hugged for that long. "Hmm..ugh well um thanks Genji for telling me all that you said I did not think of it that way" mercy said scratching the back of her head awkwardly. "It was no problem Angela" Genji said putting his helmet back, "Now what you say we go grab some ramen" Genji joked walking toward the H.Q Mercy Following with a smile on her face.
----SOMETHING THAT HAPPEND DURING THE STORY----
"I GOT IT! I GOT IT!" yelled tracer right before she tripped over a root falling right on her back with the ball landing right next to her, "I don't got it" Tracer jumped back up onto her 2 feet, grab the ball and began to run back toward Winston but as she was about to blink 10 feet from where she was she heard some sound come from behind her. She walked back a few feet to get a better perspective but as she did the sound she heard was crying. So with her curiosity she ran forward until she hit a clearing from the woods she wandered into. But as she looked out She saw something very surpirsing. The cyborg ninga Genji and the angel Mercy hugging each other. "Oh boy, Winston's gonna love this" tracer said happily and blinked her way back to H.Q
