Chapter Four: Stress and flashbacks

The night went by with us shouting at the Television, playing video games and bonding. It was bitter sweet but it ended when Chessire threw the remote at the console and went demon mode shouting about raging. We had to go get Slendy to get her off Nicki who was trying to stab her with her dagger, thank god the scythe wasn't with her.

Anyway, we were currently walking in the town near by with everyone in some sort of disguise so we didn't get caught by any of the humans. I was currently eating a apple I picked off an apple tree and sighed boredly as we walked through the town, I managed to gut one or two people and slit their throats in the process.

What fun.

As I continued walking I bumped into a form and tripped over it, landing flat on my butt. I groaned in pain as I looked up to see a thirteen year old girl with blonde hair, which covered one of her eyes, she looked down and a little twisted smile formed on her face and she suddenly helped me up before speaking in a strange whisper.. a broken whisper that even sent chills down MY back.

And I kill people for fun.

"Slenderman told me to come here and make sure you don't screw up Victim," The girl giggled in that whisper, head to the side grinning. I blinked taking in her appearance she had white eyes and pale skin with cuts and scars on her arms with her black sleeves from her hoodie rolled up, she had torn pants with blood soaking the bottom of them.    She also had no shoes.

"Well fucking Slender can send you back," I growled, turning away from the girl and beginning to walk. I could tell Niki was frowning though. "We can't just leave her!"

"Yes we can."

"Nikki, you're with a group of killers." Chessire began, I at this point turned my head and looked at them in amusement, "Killer's leave people behind. Get over it."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes," Chessire hissed out and the moment her eye color flickered I stepped infront of them, growling. "You two knock it off! We have one task, I don't give a shit if the kid comes or not. She can die for all I care." With this I stormed off.

I'm seriously not in the mood for this bullshit.

Breaking off into a run I had managed to get out of the small town and lead myself to a field, I took in my surroundings and walked toward an tree, sitting down with a soft and tired sigh. I shut my eyes and rested my head on my knees, breathing softly as an memory hit me like a brick.

"I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'll never let you go," The mother sang, smiling at her daughter as she nuzzled her head into her hair.

I never had that.

I never could have that.

My mother died so I could live.

I sat in the corner, shutting my eyes and shivering as tears welled in my eyes. Someone tapped on my shoulder and the sound of someone bending down next to me reached my ears, I lifted my head to see a girl smiling at me, she was a bit younger in her twenties.

"Hey, it's okay.." she cooed, gently picking me up and holding me like a mother would. I shut my eyes taking in the sweet motherly embrace. "I'm Emma,"

"I'm Valentine."

Bare with me guys, I know it isn't much of a chapter but it's more about Slave up till hopefully chapter six~! It's basically flashbacks of what she went through since she can't remember most of them but was driven insane which will be explained later.

So.. yeah. It's a little early but I don't care. :l -Melonie
