Leo Valdez and the Avengers

{2} The elf

**Steve**

The little boy; elf as Clint and Natasha call him, grabbed a gun belonging to Natasha.

"Barton! Elf has Widows gun!" I told the archer of the group.

"I'll replace it before she gets up!" Clint replied. He made his way towards the little elf, whilst I made my way towards Zebra. He was trying to escape with is back towards me, so I threw my shield at him and he crumbled. Next I threw my shield at the elf as Nat began to stir. Hawkeye grabbed her gun and shoved it in her belt.

"WHO TOOK MY GUN!" Nat screamed once she got up. Instantly both is men's hands were pointing at the unconscious elf.

"I  going to KILL HIM!" Exclaimed one of the master assassins of the Avengers.

"Whoa there tiger! Fury said 'bring back anyone that gets on your way' so let's grab them and go" Clint Barton. Grabbing the elf I slung him over my shoulder and climbed out the window to the jet waiting outside the school wall.

••••••••••••at SHIELD••••••••

"Jarvis please tell Fury we're here" ordered Nat

"Yes miss" replied Jarvis

"Come on let's go meet Fury" I said walking away. It took about 4 minutes till we were sitting down with Fury.

"So tell me your story" requested Fury. So we told him.

"And what of the boy?" Inquired Fury.

"We left him in cuffs to be put in a cell" answered Climt this time.

"I want to see him get him here now" ordered Fury.

"Yes sir!" I replied. Nat and I made our way towards the glass cell whilst Clint made his way towards the control room.
The boys seemed to be having an argument with each other.

"I can't believe I ever trusted you!" Shot the elf.

"I was trying to protect you!" Reasoned Zebra. But the Latino elf had heard enough, so he walked away. Silently Clint opened the door I grabbed the evil mastermind stopping him from escaping whilst Nat got the Latino whose name I do not know. At first he struggled but them gave up seeing it was impossible to escape. First the Latino elf and Nat got out then I pushed Zebra away getting out myself. As soon as I was out Clint closed the door.

Nat put him in the chair whilst she herself sat on the opposite end of the table.

"What is your connection to the world class criminal you were protecting?" Questioned Natasha.

"World class!?" Exclaimed the boy in a stunned fashion.

"I was just trying to protect my friend" he replied to the first question. Maybe he is innocent?

"That's enough Agent Romanoff, get out" I commanded Natasha. She left without a word, and he stayed inside wrapped in his own thoughts.

As one of the SHIELD agents walked passed I told them "Please go and call Miss Maximoff"

"Yes sir!" She replied and walked off. 10 minutes later the female Maximoff arrived.

"You called?" She asked.

" Yes, go check if he is as innocent as he said" I instructed

"Ok" she replied then walked into the interrogation room and sat where Nat was earlier. The two stared ino each other's eyes, then she came out.

"He is innocent" the witch declared in her sokovian accent.

"Thanks, you can go back to whatever you were doing earlier" I announced

"You're welcome, bye" Wanda replied.

"Well if he was able to almost defeat both of you I would like to asses his skills. And then deal with him
later" Fury proclaimed.
