Falling For You (Harry Styles)

Part 2

Today is the second day of school and I woke up a little later than I should have. I didn't have enough time to do my morning routine: showering, straightening my hair, foundation and all. So I just applied mascara, put my hair in a cute side braid and got dressed. I didn't have gym today so I thought I would wear this cute new light pink and floral dress I got at the mall last week. To match the dress I put in pink little stud earring and gold gladiator sandals. I grabbed my back pack and ran down the stairs hoping I didn't miss the bus. But with my luck I did!







When I walked into first period the bell had just run and all eyes we on me. There were no seats left except the one next to.. HARRY. Oh my god. I have no other option but to sit next to him. What if he thinks I smell bad? Or if he thinks I'm ugly? Tomorrow I'm waking up on time! But then again maybe it wasn't so bad, waking up late and getting to sit next to him. I put my books on the table and sat down. Trying not to make eye contact with him. From the corner of my eye I saw him glaring at me. I just wanted the bell to ring.







------- Lunch time --------




When I walked into the cafeteria the first person I spotted was Jackie. Sitting all alone by herself at the table we ate at yesterday. Why isn't Harry at the table? Actually why isn't anyone at the table? When she saw me she got up and we walked to the deli line. All i could think about is what was running through Harry's mind first period. I saw Harry walk into the cafeteria and my stomach dropped.







Harry's POV




"Hey Jake! Where is everyone?"




"I don't know probably on the lunch lines.." Of course he didn't know. Why would I even bother asking him. He doesn't know anything.




"You see that new girl Melanie standing next to Jackie?" I asked pointing to her. So he knew who I was talking about.




"Mhmm. You think she's cute don't you?" He asked with a slight smirk on his face.




I just laughed and gave him a 'shut up' look. He's right I do think she's pretty cute. So I walked over to the back of the deli line where they were standing waiting to order there food.







Melanie's POV




I felt a tap on my shoulders so I turned around and heard




"Hey cutie"




So many thoughts were running through my head. Was he talking to me? He thinks IM cute? I didn't know what to say I just stood there for a few seconds shocked.




"Oh hi!" I hope he doesn't think I'm weird or shy. It was like a minute or two of just awkward silence. He was just standing behind us. The lunch lady finally called me so I ordered my food, payed and sat down at the table. When Jackie got back to the table she was giving me a strange look like "What was that about?". I didn't know either but that literally made my day. I was all smiles and giggles for the rest of the day. When the bell rang for 9th period I threw my books in my locker and walked outside. Waiting for Jackie to walk out to the bus with.
