The Wisher

Three Months Later

 "Careful Tai!" warned my instructor as the orb of fire soared past my head. I rolled and shot one right back. Four more orbs came soaring from the practice cannon. I dodged two more times and sprinted past the third. Grinning at my instructor, he simply frowned as the fourth orb came whizzing into my forehead sending me straight to the floor. After I regained consciousness I looked up, where the instructor was waving me towards him. I drudged up the stairs where he was glaring at me his face as hard as stone. "I am disappointed Tai, I expect more" he said to me with a glare that made me want to wish myself away. " I never wanted a pupil Tai, but when the Merlin IV showed me your file, I couldn't turn it down, you showed so much potential". "I have only been wishing three months!" I exclaimed. "A good Wisher need only a day to become powerful, as long as you believe. As long as you believe, a 16 year old pupil could as powerful as a 500 year old instructor!" he stormed off, leaving behind a piece of parchment. Inscribed was as follows:

Dear Former Wisher Pupil,

Your Instructor has deemed you unworthy to continue in the Wishing program, you have failed to produce the necessary Imagination, Hope and Belief that comes with being a Wisher.

In 31 days, your Box will arrive where you found it first. When that occurs you are required to return it's contents. If you fail to return all of the contents first placed in the box or are not present when the box arrives, you will be wished away. If you wish to keep your Wisher abilities you must complete this task:

Kill the evil sorcerer Abonadek

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I had believed, or so I thought. My Instructor failed to believe in me. I flew through the tests with flying colors. All Star's status in class. One fire orb ruined my chances of being in the program. Now, I have to figure out how to take out Abonadek, the most feared and dangerous Wisher who ever lived. Abonadek was a Wisher Instructor back in the days of Merlin I. Merlin gave him the highest of honors. Merlin also told him the deepest, darkest secrets of wishing. Merlin even revealed to him who the Keeper of the Magic Scrolls was. The Magic Scrolls were created by the Creator of the Earth itself and hold all of the possible Wishes that can be used. Abonadek slayed The Keeper and took the Scrolls. Saying he would return, to take the world by force. Ever since, he has been hidden. Many have tried to find him and died. So now, it's do or die I have nothing to go back to, nothing to fall back on. Fortunately, I have a plan...
