Hey my name's Aria. Now to be perfectly honest my life isn't perfect, but then again who's life is? I live a seemingly normal life. Two married parents, two older brothers, good grades, nice house, nice clothes. But like every family mine has secrets. Horrible ones at that. My parents fight constantly and it never seems to get better. They're always fighting but they stay together for me and my brothers. My brothers constantly pick on me. All the time actually calling me names like ugly, slut, whore, bitch, worthless etc. It's horrible they have even told me to kill myself. And there's one other secret that I'd rather not mention just yet. It's horrendous really I've never told anyone because there's no one really to tell. My mom works all day, and my Step-Dad work graveyard shifts at his work as a security guard. I have no friends at school because I don't really have time to socialize since I have band and school work. In band I usually find my escape playing flute. And honestly having the first chair title earns you a lot of enemies so it doesn't really help. And all the other kids just think I'm a band freak like all the other band kids. Yep, the most perfect life ever. I just love it. But you know I find two different escapes from my harsh reality. And those are, Band and just music in general. Playing it, writing it, and listening to it. And the Band's drum major even came up with a nickname for me since he always sees me playing piano in the band room. He calls me "Little piano girl", since I'm so much smaller than him and I play piano. Everyone else calls me that since he does, even the band director. I don't really mind though. It's not like I can end it since I ignore most people. My main instrument is flute but I like playing piano as well. It gives me peace. The only kind that I can find.

Author's Note: Hehehehe like the first chapter 😁😅 yea I know it's boring but I'm trying to make this book longer so that I actually have something to write since I have a lot of ideas for this story. It's really short I get it but there will be longer chapters I promise. This is just insight to what the first main character is like. What is Aria's big secret?
