"I can't stand her anymore. She's so annoying." Those words came from the mouth of none other than Andrew.
"Dude shut up she'll hear you!"
"No she won't, she only hears what she wants."
"She hears everything, besides she's trying to find her place on a team full of guys."
There's no doubt in my mind that they're talking about me. I wAs on my way to say bye to the guys when I was stopped by voices of my so called honorary team mates. I need to go talk to JH. But the only way to him is passing the others. Crap. Oh well it will be the last time they see me ever. I put my headphones in and turn my music up loud so I can't hear them, it's better this way for me and for them.
As I walk I keep my head down to hide any signs of hurt or defeat. This is what they want even if it hurts. I make my way to where JH usually is after practice. After practice he and I always talked. Just by our little chats he has decoded my tones. So he knows when I'm going through something.
Paul was in his office when I got there, which he had him leave. But Paul didn't leave until I gave him a hug.
"There's my favorite player. What do you need?" JH asked. Man this is going to be hard for me.
"Um I meant to tell you earlier that I can't come practice with you guys anymore. I know it's short notice but I literally just found out when I was dropped of this morning. Thank you for this opportunity and I will have my brother drop everything off later. I have to go now, bye and thank you soo much." I said that and left right away, running out with tears falling. They're better off without you, you know it and they know it. Luckily my brother was already there to pick me up and take me away from here.
"Hey sis ready to go?"
"Yes, go I wanna get away from here now."
"Why?"
"Please just go we need to leave!" With that we left the parking lot and away from people I love and trust.
I muttered a simple bye as the stadium was visible in my mirror, along with a figure who looked like they were trying to stop me from leaving.
No One's POV
JH was left dumbfounded by Her sudden news. There's no way Her parents are making Her do this, he just talked to them about the upcoming away game. No this is something within the boys.
Andrew's POV
I couldn't but help feel responsible, I knew She heard me talking to Harrison and now She's gone and quit our team. I have to stop Her. I have to. I ran with everything left in me to try to stop Her, but I was too late they were turning onto the street to leave. I screwed up and now I have to tell everyone why She's gone. I walk back to the locker room trying not cry. At some point I lost it and let it out, I lost my best friend who is like a sister to me. I have no idea why She would leave, Uggh ever since my ex girlfriend came back into my life being Her trainer everything's gone wrong. I need to go talk to Her. I walk to Coach's office to ask him where She's going.
"Coach where's Finley going?" I asked
"She just quit the team, for no reason. Was there an altercation between you guys and her at all?"
"Not that I know of why?"
"She came to me all upset and battling with something. Now go round up the boys and the staff, tell them it's mandatory to attend." Coach ordered.
"Yes Sir." With that I went to the locker room to round everyone up and told them what coach said. Then I made my way to the medical staff and trainers told them too and got out as soon as I could.
"So after practice I was told some sudden and unexpected news. As you guys have surely noticed that Finley is not here with us. Well she let me know that she no longer can practice with our team anymore. Now before you say anything, I know for a fact that her parents aren't making her quit. This was all Finley's doing." Harrison and I looked at each other like we were deers caught in headlights.
"As soon as I dismiss you all I'm going to call her parents and see what's going on. If any of you may know why this happened then we need to talk. Emily we need to speak as well. Okay you're dismissed see you tomorrow." Coach said walking away with Emily following.
