Finding out Something Terrible

“Yeah, that didn’t go so well” Darci admitted.

“Did Darci and her best friend have a fight?” Kiba teased.

“Actually yes. I just found out that the person I thought I could just, was leading me to watch his little brother murder him for doing something he was ordered to do” I said smiling politely.

“Sasuke is going to kill Itachi?” Sakura gasped.

“It’s over. Sasuke won, but he is dying slowly” Zetsu said as he appeared.

Darci’s heart clenched and she started to have trouble breathing.

“I-Ita…Itachi…is…d-dead?” She asked her voice voice wavering.

“Tobi thinks he should leave. Tobi will be back later to get you Darci” Tobi said before he vanished.

Darci fell to her knees and had a hand to her heart.

The leaf ninja just watched.

Several wanted to walk forward and comfort her but she was an enemy.

Kakashi made thee first move.

He walked forward, bent down and pulled his daughter into a comforting hug.

Darci cried into his chest, unable to take the news.

Naruto walked the short distance and joined in.

“You don’t deserve this” He murmured to his friend.

“Why…” Darci muttered quietly.

Everyone felt terrible at the sight of Darci.

Even Shino and Kiba.

Naruto abruptly stood up and walked over to Kiba.

“I know your mad at her, but she needs you Kiba. Darci loves you and I am positive she cares for you the most out of everyone she loves and knows” Naruto said quietly.

Kiba looked over to Darci and his heart broke slightly.

The Inuzuka brunette nodded before he walked over with Akamaru.

He crouched down beside Kakashi and started to rub Darci’s back.

Darci lifted her head and looked to Kiba.

“Why? You hate me.” she asked.

“I don’t hate you Darci. I could never hate you. I love you so much, it hurts to see you like this.” Kiba said.

“I’m sorry for all the things I did when I was with the Akatsuki” Darci Apologized.

“You wer confused and scared, I get it” Kiba smiled.

“I wasn’t scared” Darci denied.

Everyone gave her a look.

She hid her face in Kakashi’s chest again.

“Will you come back to the leaf with us Darci?” Sakura asked a little hopeful.

“I would love to Sakura, but I have things to do, plans to ruin, S-ranked criminals to fool” Darci joked lightly.

“Be careful with that” Kakashi said.

“Always” Darci smiled.

It was silent for a few seconds.

Darci randomly cocked her head to the side.

“Wha-” Naruto started but Darci held up a hand.

“Sure Leader” she said into the confused atmosphere.

“What was that about?” Yamato asked.

“Gotta head back to base. Leader’s orders” Darci explained.

They all nodded.

Darci, Kakashi and Kiba stood up.

“I’ll be in touch. Well, Kenji will be in touch” Darci grinned.

Kiba joined in while Kakashi cracked a smile.

“Whose Kenji?” Sakura asked confused.

“My cousin” Darci replied.

“You have more family” Naruto said happily.

Darci nodded.                 

“I really gotta get going before Leader gets mad for me being late” Darci stated.

“Then go. But not before…” Kiba said before he pulled Darci to him and kissed her.

Naruto cheered while Sakura and Hinata ‘awed’.

“I definetly missed that” Darci said as Kiba pulled back.

“Me too. Now go. Before you get in trouble” Kiba smiled.

Darci smiled a true smile before teleporting to the Akatsuki base.

“So you forgive Darci” Kakashi said.

“I don’t forgive her. She needs me, that’s all” Kiba said before he started walking away with Akamaru by his side.

I understand perfectly if you want to kill me.

Totally understanable.

But, do remember, if you kill me, no one can finish writing this story, now can I?

Yes, it’s over due, but with my writers block still in effect, it makes it a little hard.

I read her leatest chapter of ‘The Passing Clouds’ (Fantastic book, by the way. You should Totally read the first one and the second), anyway, it totally reminded me of when Team 8 and team 7 went searching for Sasuke and ending up meeting and failing at fighting Tobi, so that inspired me to write this story.

I’ll try not to take so long in uploading again but School starts back on Monday and I have five weeks before Exams start, so, I’m not promising anything though.
