"No! Carolina will be left alone!" I hadn't expected our meeting to become a barking war, "Dad if we could calm this down some." "Eikko! It has to change, each province will shift, it's just going to happen!" There's not really much I can do here except watch them battle it out, the country's change from a monarchey to a constitutional one had really taken a toll on my parents and they haven't been able to look eachother in the eye for a month. Scurrying out of the office I went to meet Elise, Lady Josie had been bragging about her taking her first steps and wanted everyone to see,she had even suggested a shower to display the 'monumentous' occasion. Generally she was very humble but,"Eric! Oh so have you come to see Ellie's first steps?" Uncle Kaden was goggoling over her when he turned, "You know honey she's had about 12 first steps today dont you think thats enough?" I watched him lift her up and toss her into the air Josie gaped in horror, but Elise landed softly in her father's arms. I snickered as she headed to punch him in the arm Kaden faked a pained look and winked at me which then led to Josie snatching her away. "Actually that's why I'm here, so where's the time machiene?" Kaden barreled over laughing and Josie just rolled her eyes and set her on the ground, "Call her name so she knows where to go ok?" I nodded to her settled myself on a pink rug and called out Ellie's name. She wobbled over to my arms and plopped down onto my lap then rolled over onto her belly. "Wow you've really got her trained Jo." I chuckled." So how's Eddy handling all this?" I thought about mom screaming at dad about stupid legal stuff that'd been going on and tried to ignore it. I mustered up the best fake tears I could manage and began to explain how they had been fighting for a while and my feelings matter too and blah, blah, blah.
