John and Alex were curled up on their ratty dorm couch watching Mean Girls(not Mean Girls 2, that sucked) and cuddling. Alex was looking over him and staring at John's face which was fit under his arm. He noticed him staring after a a while and started giggling,"What are you laughing at?", Alex asked while starting to giggle himself. John saw Alex starting to stare at his face again,"Are you counting my freckles?", John asked then smiled. "Maybe." Alex then cupped John's face with his hand and kissed him. They went back to watching the movie for a while longer until it began to rain, the rain continued to get worse. John winced and Alex held him closer. He could feel John's tears running down his arm and shoulder and he felt him shaking under his arms. He tried to make him feel better.
"Shh sh sh, it'll be over soon. It's okay, I've got you, you're safe with me." Alex reassured. John's breath became less harsh and slowly stopped crying. His mouth curved itself into a small smile.
"It's okay, now it's over." Alex said, the storm quieted down and it was now only a small drizzle.
" I love you." John said then turned himself to face Alex, "I love you too and I always will my beautiful John Laurens." John kissed him softly and quickly.
At that perfect moment, the famous quote from Mean Girls,"You go Glen Coco!"was said at the perfect moment when they pulled away from their kiss. They both started laughing hysterically and then John broke it," My question is which one of us is Glen Coco" Alex chuckled and held John closer and John nuzzled his head into his boyfriend's chest as he crawled himself into a ball and rested his hands into Alex's. He eventually fell asleep in his arms.
Alex chuckled and smiled, " Good night my love."he kissed John's head and slowly fell asleep, dreaming about John in his sleep.
And he dreamed of his Alexander.
