Stolen Spots

Chapter one: Probably in the zone

Felicity's POV

As I walked towards my Textile Surface Design class, I saw a guy in my spot. You see I usually get to class early. My professor usually isn't there when I get there, so i usually sit on the floor next to the door and doodle.  I guess not today. As I got closer I saw the guys figure. Average size, Blueish Greenish eyes, and he had freckles. He wore Black rimmed glasses, black skinny jeans and a white Nirvana shirt. As I got even closer, I could see his pencil swiftly moving across the paper. His movement was beautiful. I shook my head to shake the thoughts away and threw my bag on the floor before siting down criss cross applesauce 3 feet away from him. He didn't even glance at me. Probably in the zone I thought to myself. I took out my phone, put my earbuds in and began to play "Ribcage" by Andy Black.

 I focused my eyes on the new and GORGEOUS fountain set in the middle of the courtyard. They shut down the whole courtyard for a week to install it. I put my phone in my skirt pocket and took my camera out of my bag before standing up. I walked over to the fountain and started taking pictures of it. When I was finished I put my camera back in my bag and sat back down.

I turned the volume up all the way and got out a sketch I had started the other day. It was a girl in the rain with an umbrella. I planned on having each raindrop be a different color but the girl was black and white as if on the outside she was colorful but deep down she wasn't. I pulled out my pencil case and started working on the rain drops. Once my hand started to cramp up I stopped and checked the time. It was 7:12.

"Just another hour and 18 minuets". I muttered to myself with a sigh. The shyness in me looked over to see if he heard it and that's when I noticed he was staring.
