From the day you met L you always found yourself thinking about him. The silly way he sits, the way he holds phones. He is just so adorable.
"Y/n?" questioned L."Huh what?" You had zoned out again, of course. "Sorry L" you said. "Y/n, Im going to need your full attention if you are going to help with the Kira case". " I know I'm sorry" you said as you looked down. "It seems that something may be troubling you y/n." "NO, of course not" you yelled accidentally. Of course something was troubling you. He was, but he didn't need to know that.
"So, what do we know so far L?" You asked. "We don't know much except that Kira has some sort of access to police information" L stated. "Maybe we should try looking into people that are close with the members of the police force" you said. "That is a good idea y/n, but if they find out we are investigating them and their families we will lose their trust. We must keep it secret." He said."I will
get the FBI on it right away" you said."Good" he said. You noticed L staring blankly at the wall. "Now who isn't paying attention?" You jokingly questioned. L looked at you and smiled.
You and L had been friends for a while, and had worked on many investigations together. Of course you had grown attached to him. He hadn't told you his name, but you understood that he couldn't trust you with such valuable information, plus, it was his choice. Little did you know he wanted to tell you. The only reason he hadn't was so that you wouldn't be in danger. There were criminals out there that would kill for his name, and he didn't want to put you in the crossfire.
"Y/n, you did some great work today, I think you should get some rest" L said. "Thanks L, but you of all people should know I don't sleep much" you smiled and hugged him. Shit you hugged him. Surprisingly he awkwardly hugged back. You looked up and saw a ,barely noticeable, blush on his face. You awkwardly laughed and pulled away "S-sorry". "It's fine" he said. "So, I was gonna hang at my house and play some video games, you can come too if you want" you said. "Video games are such a waste of your intelligence" he sighed. "Oh, u-umm". He was right. He smirked slightly at your response "Well are we going to your house or not?" You smiled "Let's go" you said as you pulled him out the door by his arm.
