I look around, the white piercing my eyes like it did before. When everything comes into focus, i look down. I drop the knife in my hand, and as it chimes on the floor, i look up, wide-eyed.
"Aria?" Lucifer whispers, from beside me. "Aria, look at me." I slowly turn to him, in shock, and meet his eyes. "Its okay. Míchael wont dare tell Father." He levels at my height, looking into my eyes. "Trust me." I nod, letting him lead me to Gabriel's room. We stop outside it, as Lucifer bangs on the door. "Gabriel, let us in."
"No!" Shouts the reply. He's obviously scared stiff. The poor little guy.
"Come on Gabriel. Be a good brother!" Lucifer says, banging on the door. A minute passes, as it creeks open. We pile in, as Gabriel closes the door. Lucifer sits me down on the bed. "Rest, Aurelia. I'll be back." He says, as he runs out of the door, closing it behind him.
I look after him, then at my lap, trying to comprehend what just happened. Gabriel looks at me, then climbs on the bed next to me. "Its okay, Sis." He says, smiling. I know he's smiling for me, but that's just about it.
I push a smile forward. "Thanks Gabe." I mutter.
We wait there in silence for Lucifer to come back. All the while i think of how much my brothers love me. And then think of what I did in return.
I awake, bolting up straight, and placing my hand on my head. I look around. I'm in a dim room, on a sofa. There's a fire on the left hand side of the room, from my point of view, and a table, with a kitchen to my right. There's a room leading off to my far left, and straight ahead there's a door, most likely to outside. I lye back down, staring at the ceiling, just listening. There's no noise; there's no one here. I sigh, recalling my 'dream'. Then what happened before that 'dream'. Then what happened before i had that dream before I called Lucifer. I sit back up, taking my time before standing up. I walk a little to the centre of the room, then peak through the door to my far left. Its a bathroom. I sigh thankfully, go in, and lock the door, freshening myself up.
Half an hour later, i come back out, my hair freshly washed and dried, and a towel around me. I lost my bag somewhere between finding out about my family, and messing everything up. I stop, suddenly, as I see a figure standing with his back towards me, talking to another man, who looks right at me. I shuffle uncomfortably, as Lucifer turns around, eyes locking on me.
"Go Alex." he says, as the man (Alex) moves around Lucifer. As he goes past me, i catch sight of him. He's not older than me. About seventeen. He exchanges a glance with me as he opens the door out, and goes. I look back to Lucifer, "Nice sleep?" he asks, chuckling.
"Yeah. Wouldn't mind some clothes though" I comment, smiling. Its my first real smile in a long time.
I don't have any time to wonder what that means, as he just points into another room near the fireplace. One that I didn't see before. "There's some in there. Your size." I nod, and go in. Its a bedroom. I sigh, wondering if he made me sleep on the sofa on purpose.
When i come out, I'm wearing a pair of jeans, and a red top, which shows my curves. I role my eyes at him. He's reading a magazine, in the dark, on the sofa. I sigh. "That so doesn't suit you." I comment, making my way over and plonking next to him. "At all" As I see him raising an eyebrow at some random woman.
"I don't get it. Why is she in a 'fit' magazine, when she looks like a cows bottom? I really don't understand these... ants." Lucifer asks. Its quiet for a second, then i burst out laughing. "What?" He shrugs, throwing it in the fire, then looking at me. I almost fall off the sofa.
"Are you feeling alright, Lucy?" I manage to say in between laughing and trying to straighten myself out.
He looks at me. "Fine, Louise. Just fine." He chuckles.
We sit there, talking about random things about humans... or 'cockroaches' as he likes to call them. He still doesn't understand what paper is when there's a knock at the door half an hour later.
"Who is it?" Lucifer snaps, looking at the door.
"Alex boss. Some demons want to see you." I look at Lucifer, as he goes stiff.
"Who?" He calls out.
"They're speaking for Crowley." Alex replies, still on the other side of the door. Lucifer stands up, making his way to the door and opening it.
"Bring them up." He says. Alex nods, and Lucifer turns to me. "You might not want to be here when they come." He closes the door. "Your welcome to leave."
I look at him. "I'd rather stay." I whisper, not too sure.
He sighs. "You said it sister. Just don't blame me for what you don't like." He says, looking at me, as the door busts open. He slowly turns around, looking at two teenagers. They're both unnaturally pale. They both have black hair. They're both...
"No..."I gasp, recognising them. I take a step forward. "Jeremy? Andy?" I exclaim. Lucifer turns to look at me.
"You know them?" Lucifer stares at me
"Uh..." I look at Lucifer, then at them two, then at Alex and another demon. "Yeah..."
They stand up straight, looking at me, then at Lucifer. They're eyes flicker pitch black. "Crowley wants Louise to know that all of her friends are either dead." He looks at me. "Or possessed." He smiles, watching my reaction.
I almost run at them, but Lucifer holds my shoulder, looking at them. "Kill them." He tells to Alex and the demon. They have no problem with ripping them apart as i look away.
Lucifer leads me into the bedroom, and i have extreme de-ja-vu as he sits me on the bed. "He wont get away with that. I promise sister." I look at him.
"They we're my friends in my first year at school, Lucifer. I wasn't even that close to them! I just-"
"Just nothing. Don't think about it, or even do anything about it. He won't get away with it." He says, kneeling in front of me, looking in my eyes. "Trust me."
I look at him, remembering about what Bobby did for me back there. "Uh... Lucifer?" I say, then i realise how crazy it is that I'm talking to the devil. I shake my head. "You know Bobby?" I ask, looking at him.
"The one that i killed?" He asks, looking at me as if i lost my head. "What about him?"
Then i realise that he doesn't know that he's back. I sigh. "Never mind. Its not that important." He stands up.
"Okay. I'll be back." He says, then goes out of the room.
I sigh. I hate de-ja-vu.
