Marcus Peters hated school. Even though he had perfect grades and was the best player on the football team, he still hated it. His teachers always tried to call his parents and set up a council meeting, but Marcus always said it wouldn't happen. The reason Marcus hated school so much because his divorced parents were shoving it down his throat to be the best so they could get back at the other. He had to have perfect grades for his mom, and a perfect athleticism for his dad. He just wanted to have a happy family again.
But Marcus figured it wouldn't happen. Because it hadn't since he was 5.
He hated going back and forth between mom and dad, both to busy to care he was even there. Dad always had a date, and mom was always working. That just left Marcus to deal with his little sister Jamie. Jamie was 15, two years younger than Marcus. She was always getting in to trouble, mostly trying to get attention. She was falling behind with her grades, and always getting into trouble with her boyfriend, Todd. So really, it left Marcus to himself.Marcus was all by his lonesome self when the Particle Accelerator exploded.
