Sunlight flooded in through my window blinding me. I rolled over in bed and glanced at my clock. 10:37 am.

"Wow I slept in really late." I groan. I sit up in bed and smile. "It's the first day of summer break!" I exclaim to myself.

I slide out of bed and flip on my lights. I head to my closet and pick out some faded shorts and a black tee. After I get dressed, I head down the stairs for breakfast. "Good morning everybody!" I say aloud. There's no answer. "Guys? Mom? Dad?" Uh...right. They're both at work. I rummage through our pantry and find something to eat.

While I'm eating my pocket starts
to buzz. I pull my phone out to see whose calling. It's my mom. "Hey mom!" I slur through a mouthful of food. "Hi! Honey don't forget about your MAGCON tickets. I set them on the table under your car keys." My moms says. How could I have forgotten? I've been looking foreword to MAGCON all year. "Right! Thank you mom!" I say sweetly.

When the phone call ends I grab my keys, my ticket, and I head out the door to my old jeep. Since I lived in California, the traffic was horrible. By the time I reached the hotel where the convention was being held, it had already ended.

I park my car in the first spot I find and I run into the hotel. "No! No! Did I miss it?! It can't be over!" I say to myself. "Sorry miss." A soft voice began. "The convention has ended."

Great. Just great. I walk back out into the parking lot, staring at my feet as I walk. I'm so pissed that I missed it.

Suddenly a person bumps into my shoulder knocking me to the ground hard. "Ouch! Seriously?" I say while I'm trying to get back up. I feel a hand grasp mine, pulling me upwards. "I am so sorry! I wasn't looking." A deep voice said. I glance up to see dark brown eyes staring into mine. I begin to study the boy. "I really am sorry!" The boy speaks.

He glances down at my knee. "You're bleeding." He says while bending down. At that, im pulled out of my revere. I stop and look at my knee. Great. Just what I needed. A Busted knee. "Here." He says extending a hand. "Let me walk you to your car." Just then it hit me. Cameron Dallas! "OH...MY...GOD!" I shout.

The boy looks around nervously. "What? What's wrong?" He asked. "You're c-Cameron d-Dallas." I stutter.

He chuckles. "Let's just get you to your car alright?"
