I woke up in the middle of the night. It was so dark I could barely see anything. What time is it? I tried to turn, but I could not move. Am I tied down? Did someone kidnap me while I was asleep? What's going on? I tried to call of help, but my voice did not work. I did everything to move, but I nothing worked. There was bit of light now, but it was still too dark to see anything. I looked around, for anything that may help me. There was a shadow in the corner, it looked like a person. Has it been there the whole time? I could hear a buzzing sound along with whispers. It moved towards me, slowly and smoothly like it was on wheels. The buzzing sound grew louder, and the whisper grew clearer, the closer the shadow got. It stopped in front of my bed, I tried to move away, but my muscle would not respond. My breathing and pulse quickened. I closed my eyes but I could still see the shadow. It lunged at me.
I bolted up, breathing heavily, my heart ready to jump out of my chest. I don't know where I am, but all I know is that I am not home. It was still dark, but there was a dim light in front of me. I reached of it. It was a flashlight. Thank God. I stood up and looked around. It looked like a small cupboard. Where in the world am I? On the floor, there was a small vase, in it was a Key and a note.

You must be wondering where you are. I am here to tell you. You are in the deepest part of the In-between. You must return to the surface; it is not safe for you to be here. There is a tunnel that will lead you up, straight back to the surface. Find it and follow it. Do not be afraid for they sense it. I will be with you through the way.

How does this person know who I am? Who is they? What exactly is going one? Whoever she is, she might have just saved my life. I could sense a small piece of hope inside of me, like Pandora's Box. I checked the door, and found that it was unlocked. So, the Key does not go here. I put the Key in my pocket, and walked out of the room. I walked through the dark hallway, not completely sure when or where it would end. I kept walking, suddenly, I saw two glowing object. I was unsure at first, so I kept going. I stop in my tracks, fear consumed me. Eyes, they were eyes. Watching me, watching my every move. I did not want to move, I wanted to go back. Remember the note, I tried to continue on the journey and kept walking. I ended at a cross way, and my fear lifted. They were not eyes, but gems. Two large emeralds, placed on the wall to give light.
I looked around the room and found three doors. On one side a red gem was above the door, a white gem on the other. The giant door in front of me had nothing. Not sure where to go, I decided walk towards the door in front of me. I walked up to it and turned the knob, and found that it was locked. There was a note on the door, similar to the one in the vase. It read:
Lisa,
This is the way out of this place, unfortunately it's locked. The Key that in the vase is one of the three Keys you need. One of the Keys is located in the Dark Room, and the other Key is in the Prison. You'll have to go through one of the Doors to get there. I wish you luck.

After reading the note, I wanted to curl up into a ball and just stay here, but I know if I do, I would never return home. I gathered the rest of my courage and head to one of the door. Which door leads to which room? Or does the door even lead to a room? I took my chances and headed towards the red gem. On the door was another note.
