My alarm rang at 5:55 that meant that summer was officially over.
Time to start the same old routine, get up, get dressed, eat, walk the dog, spend way to much time on my hair, and get to the bus. I was beginning my Junior year at Jackson high, I'm your typical theater kid, straight A's in my classes and I always get the male lead in our plays and musicals. You could say life was good, but I can't deny that I wanted something more. But hey, why fix what isn't broken at least thats what my parents always say. I stepped outside it was a beautiful sunny day with a pleasant cool breeze. As I made my way to the bus I heard the familiar voice of my best friend Hannah "Andrew! Andrew! Wait for me!". Hey Hannah! I said, ready for a new year? "I guess"she said. I heard the sound of the bus making it's way around the corner, It screeched to a halt and the doors creaked open with there familiar sound. After we sat down Hannah asked exactly what I assumed she would ask "Did year hear that the musical is Mean Girls"! Of course I had heard I thought its been all over the Jackson drama club twitter nevertheless I said No way! I love that movie! "Oh my god I know it's seriously one of the greatest movies ever! You should totally audition for Aaron Samuels".
I had considered it but the more I thought about it Aaron seemed like the stereotypical role I would always play. "Actually Hannah I was thinking and I want to audition for Damian I want to try something new" I said. A look of surprise washed over Hannah's face "Really? It doesn't seem like you but I guess you could pull it off you are extremely talented".  The bus pulled up to the school "Ill see you at lunch Hannah then you can tell me who you are auditioning for". "Ok bye Aaron" my first class was dramatics with the Queen of darkness and all pain Julie Zinger. I absolutely adored her mostly because I was her favorite but that aside she knew how to run a dramatics program. The bell rang and she said "All right class welcome to dramatics 3, before we begin I would like to introduce Connor he transferred here from Seattle Washington please give him a nice welcome".  Oh great a new student I thought, but then I looked up and I saw him.
