Chapter 1: New kid in town

That was June 2009 when I started to study college. My course was Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management at Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University at Pampanga. I never liked my course at first, but this was the only course that my parents can afford. If I took up a Psychology Course, or a Mechanical Engineering course, I should have died now because of starvation.

It started on my freshmen life as college student. It's our Prelim Project in Marketing. And when I entered school, a girl approached me, I often saw her in our class.

"Hey, you're alone. Can I sit?" The girl asked.

"Yeah sure, you may." I answered.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"I'm Jela. Are you new here?" She asked me again.

"I should be the one asking you that. Are you new here?" I asked her too.

"Nah, I attend class often. I have financial and family problem." She answered.

And she asked me a lot of questions and I asked her too. We talked a lot of things, our interests, likes and dislikes. You know what, we just talked just a few minutes but when I talked to her, I feel so comfortable.

When our professor in Marketing came, he told us that we are going to have our group reporting.

"Now, divide yourselves into six members each group. You are free to choose your members. If you have your group already, choose one leader and come with me. I will give you your topics" Our professor said and he sat down.

"Hey Luigi, do you have your group already?" Jela asked me.

"Nah, I don't have yet. Can you join to our group?" I asked her.

"Yes! We can! So we need 4 more members for us to be complete" She answered.

"There's no need to find four more members. We're here already. Right Luigi?" one of my friends named Julius said.

"As expected to you guys. Anyways Jela, here are my closest friends, Michael, Victor, Franz and Julius" I introduced.

"Hello guys!" Jela smiles

So when our group was complete, they assigned me as a leader. And our professor assigned me the topic that we are going to report. We discussed briefly about our topic and we adjourned.

Well actually, I was one of the leaders in my class most especially marketing. Once when I speak in front of them, they will listen. Sometimes I always coordinate with my professors on what will be our next activities. I am not intelligent enough but I have the brave to answer based on my own answer, but then, I was thankful that my answers are correct.
