chapter twenty one

"I mean it would be nice to have a boyfriend. you and Allie seem happy with one. I want to be happy too" Ashley says and picks at her nails.

"Ash you can be happy without a boyfriend. don't compare yourself to us" Allie says.

"Ashley if your really looking for a boyfriend, I have this friend that I met in middle school. he lived in Australia all his life and moved here in like 6th or 7th grade. he's homeschooled now but I still talk to him" Chandler explains.

"I guess I could talk to him. what's his name?" she asks.

"Ashton. (from 5sos. yes yes we all know him) here's his number" Chandler says going on his phone, pulling up his number and handing his phone to Ash. she puts the number in her phone and gives Chan back his phone.

"I'll text him to let him know your gonna contact him" he says typing on his phone and then putting it down.

"woah look at Chandler the match maker" Allie grins.

"yea Izz, don't let this one go" Ash laughs.

"if he keeps whining I might have to let him go" I tease. he turns around and gives me a death glare.

I giggle "I'm kidding baby. you're perfect the way you are" I say and kiss his head. he smiles and winks.

"ok I texted him" Ashley says putting her phone down and staring at the screen. "oh he read it. and now he's replying. oh god" she says still staring at her phone.

she picks up her phone "oh my god" she says.

"what" Allie asks.

"he wants to come over so we can talk in person. he's not like a murderer right Chandler?" she asks him.

"no no. he's cool" Chan nods. Ashley replies to Ashton and we all hang around for a bit till he comes over. finally there's a knock on the door and Ashley gets up to open it. she lets Ashton in and we all say hi.

Chandler gets up "hey Ash" he says.

"hi Chandler. long time no see my friend" Ashton says.

"tell me about it. so this is Ashley. she's very nice and cute but you can talk to her about that. oh and have you heard about my lovely lady?" he smirks.

"I have heard that you are now taken but I haven't met her" Ashton laughs. I stand up and go over to them.

"hi. I'm his lovely lady" I laugh.

Chandler chuckles "this is Izzy"

Ashton shakes my hand "this is the Izzy you always bickered with right?" he asks Chandler.

I roll my eyes and look at Chan "is there anyone you didn't complain about me to?" he shrugs and shakes his head.

"well I guess opposites attract" Ashton laughs.

"guess so" I say and kiss Chandlers cheek.

"ok well nice to meet you Ashton. I'm Allie and I'm gonna get going because Luke is coming over to my house soon. bye guys" Allie says getting up and leaving.
