If you havent read these series then you're going to be a bit confused XD
FIRST There are three types of Vampires:
Moroi: These are alive magic wielding GOOD vampires, they're born, they live and then they die.
Strigoi: Strigoi are the evil undead vampires we know and love <3 <3
and
Dhampirs: These guys are AWESOME: They are the offspring of Humans and Moroi! They have the strength, statuette, and form of humans but they have the quick senses of a Moroi! They a taught in a school alongisde the Moroi to protect them against the EVIL Strigoi MWAHAHAHAH!!!
It starts at the end of the book Shadow Kiss where Rose and Dimitri FINALLY give in to their love and DO IT... tehehee I'm too immature to say that naughty 'S' word.
Also there is this chick called Tasha who is really annoying and is trying to steal Dimitri away from Rose...

So he decides after they DO IT (tehe) that he would take Tasha up on her offer and guard her from the evil STRIGOI! (BAD VAMPS) ...
