The once lonely caterpillar,
Has now become a butterfly,
As the sun shines through the window,
Making its wings shine.
Flying through the air,
Everyone gazing and muttering,
Feeling proud of the wings,
But is this is how it should be?
Being ignored because of ugliness,
But being popular because of beauty,
This is not how my life should be,
Being judged by looks...
"Miyu, sugoii!"
My shoulders shake upwards as I respond to the sudden compliment. I look up and see one of my classmates, Lola.
"Ah, Lola. Arigato,"
"Did you make that song yourself?"
"Yes, I just made it myself just now,"
"Waah! You MADE the song yourself AND just did it just now? That's absoulutely amazing!!!"
I sighed and smiled back at Lola. She was a pink haired cute girl with two long pigtails. Her eyes were the same colour as her hair and her smile is infectious.
"Miyu! Sorry I'm late! Oh, hi Lola!", my best friend, Hitotsu Mika greeted me and Lola as she burst into the classroom.
Somehow, in all the rush she was having, her long, shimmering brown hair was still perfect.
"You're not late, you're just on time. Look, the bell just rung", I said, just interuppted by the school bell.
Before I could chat with Mika, the teacher came in. I stood up. Another school day has begun.
