It felt like just yesterday where everything was happen and normal. Students bustled around from class to class unaware of the tragedy that would occur in 3 hours.

What would you do if you had three hours left to live? A lot to think about right? These kids, let's just say they didn't have time to think about death.
All they had were dying memories, and in the midst of it all there were 9 students who would know true hell

A soothing breeze passed ruffling the trees leaves, most of which were barely there. It was the beginning of winter. After all everyone was excited, winter means Christmas! Nora shivered, the brunette obviously wasn't dressed for the frigid cold air. Her best friend, Nadia slightly smiled, which slowly progressed into a quiet giggle. "I heard that!" Nora growled rubbing her shoulders. Nadia stopped laughing and shyly gave Nora her sweater "S-sorry, here since your that cold" Nadia smiled as they walked inside the school. "That's okay Dia its warmer in here, besides Jaiden said that he'd bring my vest! It totally goes with my outfit so it all works out" Nora stated fixing her skirt.

Nadia put her sweater in her locker "So, Nora... Why are you so dressed up today?" She asked looking at Nora who was brushing her hair. "Well I was in my closet yesterday and I found this really cute purple skirt and then I started thinking- what could I wear with this, then Jaiden being the nice person he is texted me that my outfit would look great with the vest that I kept forgetting every time we go there so he said  he would bring it here!" Nora explained slamming her locker shut after putting the brush back

Nadia gave a simple smile seeing Nora light like this, she did it often. "Ehehe...I see, well you look nice any way- oh! Look there Jaiden!" Nadia pointed out. A tall male with messy brown hair and tanned skin approaches the girls with Nora's vest. "Sup ladies, Nora, your precious vest" he greets with a charming smile. Nora takes that vest from his hands and slips it on her shoulders.

Jaiden rubbed the back of his neck "now let's get down to business ladies, since this is one week before the alleged holiday, Christians celebrate is coming I say that it unfair that I'm the only one who celebrates Hanukkah and I have never had a bar mitzvah and so-"

"Wait wait wait wait...what? I have no idea what Christmas has to do with you not having a bar mitzvah" Nora butted in and Nadia nodded. "I thought it would be a helpful piece of information to have-" Jaiden replied.

"Okay so one, don't ever just add that in the middle of a sentence and two please stay on topic about the whole Christmas thing" Nora scrunched up her eyebrows. "Right, uh I have organized a sort of hunt around the school, and scavenger hunt if you will, and you both are being forced to participate!"

"Well Jaiden I guess we'll be happy to participate any way, what time and where is it?" Nadia asked and Jaiden. "During lunch my friend, please join us in the courtyard"

"Us? Are you telling me you actually have other friends" Nora repeated making the male scowl "Haha very funny" Jaiden glared. As the bell rang a tall brunette woman walked up next to the three "alright guys social time is over get to class" she laughed rubbing Nora's arm and kissing her forehead. "Alright bye mom!" Nora gave her mother a hug and linked arms with Nadia before bouncing off. Jaiden saluted Nora's mom "Mrs. Ramirez" and he ran off.

The first few classes went by quickly, seeing as it being so close to the break the teachers just gave some wimp assignment and let the kids be on their phones. It really wasn't long before lunch break so when the bell rang Nora immediately got up from her seat to meet Nadia downstairs. Nora waited a few moments and Nadia walked up next to her. "You'll never believe what happened!" Nadia said timidly as they got outside.

"What happened?" Nora asked. "Ms. Ariana's puppy bolted out the the classroom the minute the door opened and he's usually so calm" Nadia frowned. "Wait you have a dog as a class pet?" Nora asked. "Yeah, Ms. Ariana chased after him and she didn't come back, a lot of the kids in my class said that it was because dogs run away from danger" Nadia sighed staring at her feet.

"I'm sure she got him by now Dia, don't worry-" "But that isn't what I'm worried about! What danger was he running from?!" Nadia snapped and took a step back with a guilty look on her face "I-I'm sorry Nora I didn't mean to yell at you" she apologized with tears starting to form in her eyes. Nora just laughed "Its fine Dia, but you do have a point" Nora sighed. When they were far away from the school they sat in the grass where Jaiden ran up and slid in the grass next to them.

"Guys I need you check this out" he said his voice slightly wavering as he gave the girls his phone. It was a gray static screen that turned black, then slowly the three words appeared.

Nora and Nadia stared at the phone screen shocked "what the hell...! Jaiden I swear to god if this is a prank-" "Its not! I promise, my friend Alex said he was out here to do the scavenger hunt and while I was looking for him my phone started making weird noises!" He explained but when he stopped talking all 3 of them noticed the disturbing silence. The ruffling of the trees- no everything had stopped.

There was a red light coming from a window in a second floor classroom. "What is that...what..." Nora suddenly stood up sprinting towards the school. Nadia sprinted after her telling her to stop. The closer they got the clearer it was. Nadia jumped on top of Nora as time suddenly sped up and the explosion went off. Smoke filled the air, painful screams rang out, the smell of burning bodies was everywhere. An ear piercing alarm went off. Nora threw Nadia off of her, Nora screamed for her mother as Jaiden pick up Nora and held on to Nadia's hand tightly as he ran.

They all tumbled to the ground after running a long distance from the burning school. Nora's phone was buzzing, it was a phone call from her mother. The button on her phone to answer her call was grayed out and Nora started crying "why can I answer!? I wanna talk to my mother! I want to hear her voice!" She screamed looking as if she was ready to break her phone. Nora looked behind her Jaiden and Nadia had passed out.

Nora looked forward again at the school, she felt a sharp pain like she was beginning injected with something. Her vision started to fade as she collapse and all she could see was the blurry image of someone standing in front of her.
