The Blizzard

Chapter One:Snow

I wake up from a terrible nightmare. Me and my friends were driving to an out of state cabin in the woods for an experience. My mom said that we should reconnect with nature, Why couldn't we reconnect with our phones? Something told me that we shouldn't come here. In all those movies like Evil Dead where a group of teens go to a cabin and get killed, I got that kind of feeling. We were racing by in the snow. No one was breaking a conversation. I like it when its a nice and quiet ride.

"I know you guys don't want to be here." said Tom. Tom is one of my closest friends, and we met in high school. "But i think that it would all do us good if we just spend at least two weeks without our electronics or technology." He said. "And besides, don't you couples want some alone time?" he said as he shrugged his eyebrows up and down. I blushed.

"Oh shut up!" Tiffany said as she punched him in his shoulder playfully. I leaned over toward my window. There was fog on it. I was bored so I drew a smiley face on it. Than I made a handprint on it, but that's when I saw something that would haunt me until I leave these woods.

I saw a person, or at least I think it was a human. It was all black, and it was standing in the snow stiffly. "GUY'S! I SAW SOMEONE!" I yelled as I started to feel nervous.

"Someone? Out here? Did they have a car, or was it just standing there?" Tom said as he looked at me as if I was hysterical.

"I saw someone just standing there" I said trying not to panic. I was screaming on the inside. That figure, it looked so... Sinister. Well, if I make it out of here, I'll know that that Will haunt my dreams. "We should turn around! like now!" I exclaimed to Tom.

"What ever you say...Mom." he murmured under his breath. I saw him turn his steering wheel to the left. When we got to the spot where it was... It was gone.

"I-I could have sworn there was some thing right there!" I said, unsure if I have totally lost my marbles.

"Sure, than where is it?" Tiffany said with a smirk on her face. No wonder why Tom is the only one that likes her, even though she is hot.

"Fine! You go out there and see!" I said yelling at her.

"OK I Will!" she said as she put her north face coat on and opened the sliding doors. I instantly got a spray of ice and snow. Than she closed it. Me and Tom watched suspenseful as to what was going to happen. "There's nothing here!" she said with a muffled voice as I tried to hear her through the glass. Than, I see her looking at something, and falls to the ground screaming...
