"Do you really think I would believe you after this, a stupid game you played to try and break my heart?" He snarled.
Staring at the grey eyed boy in front of her, body shaking, silent tears ran down her cheeks. Heart beating fast, clammy hands, she slowly shook her head. She hated this. Standing here in her flustered state. It was like someone had possessed him when he was angry, in some sort of trance. Previously he would be the one to stutter in front of her and only her. Now it was the other way round.
"Of course not--"
"So what Hana and Lily were saying was a lie then?" Sirius interrupted, while he girl fumbled under his piercing glare.
Eyes burning, tear brimming, thinking of the two traitors. Of course they still wanted to go through with the plan, Lotus thought bitterly.
Silence answered the question while Lotus looked down, finding her shoes oddly interesting all of a sudden, refusing to mutter a single word. Pacing, the boy walked back forth across the room, hands running through his charcoal coloured hair. Silently she stumbled backwards, til she hit the stone wall, hoping the shadows would eat her alive, anything to get away from this awkward situation.
However, Sirius stopped pacing, fire burning in his eyes as he strode off to the brown eyes girl. Cornering her into a tight, claustrophobic space, he slammed his hands on either slide of her on the wall in frustration. Surprised, a gasp escaped Lotus while she stared at him emotionless, unknow what to comment, say or do.
"You know Lotus, you say I'm a heartless bastard, you're a heartless bitch. Guess we're a perfect match for each other, how my mother will be so pleased." He spat, a humourless laugh following, watching her with a cool gaze, eyebrows in a permanent frowning position.
Gaining courage for a second, she responded.
"I can't be heartless, or how would I be able to love you?"
Shaking his head at her response, the animagi turned on his heel, pausing as he approached the doorway.
"Hope your happy, you've won the dare."
