Chapter 8

Jake's Pov

I watched her walk out. Taking my heart with her. Storm walked up to me.

" Don't worry Mr. Kings she will come around." Storm said slowly.

" No,but at least I'm for sure she's my mate." I said. Then I felt a burning pain in my head.

' Noooo, she's trying to end to the bond!!!! Jake don't let her.' my wolf screamed at me.

Before I could do anything, I was out the door and in the woods, shifting. I was to her house in the matter of seconds.

I knocked down her front door down. She whipped around and her eyes got wide. She was going to run.

I growled at her. She put up her hands and started to back up. I growled even louder, she stopped.

A shifted back to my human form. " You are trying to break our bond when we both just found out for ourselves!" I growled again. Her face went pale. I walked to her, more like ran. I pinned her up against the wall. " Why are you trying to break the bond!" I snarled in her face. She just looked away.

I wrapped her legs around my waist and pushed up against her. " Don't tell me you want to forget these tingles when we touch. The way I make you feel when I'm by you and you just want me to touch you. You just want to kiss me." Her head snapped to me.

" You don't think I wanted a normal mate? No, I can't have a mate. You will never change my mind. Now let me go! We will never happen!" Zoey yelled in my face.

So, I did what any Alpha would do if their mate was trying to break the bond. I kissed her and took her to her room.

I pushed her on her bed. " Stop, please." She said.

" You need to know who you belong to" I told and she pushed me away.

" I will never be yours. "Then my wolf came out.
