One//meeting

Ellie
I'm going to meet this boy that my parents want me to be friends with. I've only just moved to this area so I know nobody here. I really hope this boy is nice because I really need to start making friends. My mom told me he's name is Dougie. My mom claims he's nice and he lives next door to us. I've just arrived at he's front door a few moments later the door opens.
"You must be Elena," She shouts
That's not my name I mutter under my breath

My birth name is Elena but everybody calls me Ellie I actually HATE Elena
As I walk into the house I see Dougie walking towards me I awkwardly smile and we made  small talk while our moms talk, after what seemed like forever he's mom Told us to go play in he's room so we went upstairs and I was amazed with he's room
"wow I love your room," I squeal
"Thanks," he says before blushing
He's room had white walls with curtains he's room was a bit blank but it looked really cool

"How old are you then,"
"I'm 7,"
"Omg I'm 7 aswell," I say

About a hour later it's time for me to go home, I say my goodbyes to Dougie and get my shoes on to leave "bye Dougie,! I should as I leave the house "bye Ellie,"

Dougie
I've just shut the door on Ellie, she's a Lovely girl, I really think we are going to get on. She's so beautiful, brown hair, brown hair I really like her. My mom said she's moving to my school next week and I'll be her buddy Untill she finds her feet. I'm going to Ellies tomorrow to help her unpack which is going to be lots of fun!

Ellie
I've just been to Dougies he's so nice and kind. He has short hair and blue eyes I think I'm not sure though, I'm a bit scared though what if he asks about my dad? I don't want to talk about him what if I've forced to talk about he's death?! Okay Ellie calm down you are over reacting I'll just tell him I don't want to talk about it and I'll ask my mom to ask he's mom to explain to him.

The next day Dougie is coming over! He's helping me unpack my stuff as he arrives I see he's got a present in he's hands "I'm mom told me to give you this its just a few things to help you Seattle in here," "thanks,"

Dougie
"So what do you want to do when you are older Ellie"? I ask
"Urm I don't I really like acting but I never get main parts in plays what about you?",
"I don't I'd like to be in a band but I doubt that will ever happen,"
"It might Dougie anything could happen,"

"So where's your dad then," I ask
"Well Urm ugh uh"
"Well what," I ask politely
"He's dead," I see her mood drops
"Oh Urm sorry," I say sympathetically
"What about your dad,"? She asks
"I don't see my dad mom said he did something bad and that I'm not aloud to see him,"
"Oh," she awkwardly says

Ellie
Thankfully Mom came into to end this awkward conversation "how are you doing kids,"? "Almost done mom,"! I state "excellent" I'm doing some tea now so hurry up and wash your hands it will be on the table soon we both follow her out of the room and to the bathroom to wash our hands as we had been painting my room

Dougie
Over the table we all had small talk I asked Ellie when she was moving to my school her mom said she's getting her uniform tomorrow and would be starting in 3 days, I'm so excited it's going to be so much fun. I've only known Ellie 2 days but she's already becoming one of my Best friends. After dinner me and Ellie decided to go for a little walk. As Ellie hadn't lived here in cranleigh very long so it will be nice to give her a tour.

Ellie
Me and Dougie are walking in the local park. It's so beautiful here. I'm so glad mom made us move. We didn't talk we just walked. I love Dougie he's already one of my best friends. In my old school I didn't really have many friends. I hope I make more friends here.

"Dougie we should probably start heading back but I can ask my mom if you can stay over,"
"Okay Ellie,"

"Mom," I shout
"Yes dear,"
"Can Dougie stay the night please,"
"Yes of course he can,"

The next morning I woke up and Dougie had he's head on my shoulder

"Morning Ellie," he smiled
"Morning Dougie,"
"You ready to get your uniform,"
"Yes I squealed,"

We both quickly got dressed and left the house with my mom.

"We are here"! Mom says

I went into the changing rooms and tried on the uniform. It fit perfectly

Dougie
We have just got back to Ellie's I've got to go home now as my mom has arrived to pick me up we say goodbye and I leave.

I'm so excited for Ellie to start school now it's going to be amazing me and Ellie have so much In common neither of us have dads in our lives and neither of us have any siblings it's perfect I think our moms get on really well as well. I can't wait to introduce her to my friends I hope they all like her as much as I do because she's so kind and beautiful and I hope we can be bestfriends forever

I think Dougie's nice I rally do but I'm scared what if he's friends don't like me what if I don't make any friends at he's school here in Cranleigh. I keep telling myself over and over to stop overreacting.
