The rhythm was strong, the heart beats were regular. Everyone turned their looks to Edgar Windstone who had his normally unconscious face focused at his notes.
"Do you see it?" it was the other students that asked each other if they could see the mysteriously odd thing in his face, not that he was focused as he'd never been but the scar. It was a pretty fresh one, with a little blood pouring out of it. The scar started in his left eye and ended around two inches below. It literally seemed
"I'm sure it wasn't there yesterday." a girl said quietly, looking at him with a questioning expression. The humming noise was still not higher than it usually was so their teacher just kept on with correcting the tests from the last week, until she had finished Edgar's she understood something was wrong.
"Edgar!" she screamed and held his test and results up so that he could clearly see them. "How is it possible that you got a C+? I mean, it's your handwriting and all, but how did you possible cheat on that test?" her face got more and more red because people didn't cheat in her class. But this time she wasn't really sure that Edgar had cheated, he had never done it which he had proved when he had failed on every single test the last month. He could just not know how to cheat. The whole class made him the centre of the room. Every student was confused. And the silence that hadn't been for the last minutes when they had been chattering, now was there and all that they could hear were the regular heart beats. The whole room seemed to vibrate as his facial expression got more and more fearful and he seemed to melt away. His dark blue eyes turned bright and his red lips got even more red, the same happened to his skin colour. Then he passed out.
The rhythm was strong, the heart beats weren't regular. Edgar was on the floor, not moving. The seconds were counted as the vibrations still were there. Everyone else held their breaths, not knowing anything. A sparkling noise in the speakers appeared and the fear in the air finally broke through, the young students screamed for their lives when the creepy person spoke his words.
"Death... Everyone... Die... Tonight... End... World... Start... " it wasn't good quality at all so the words weren't all heard. But what was clear was that something bad would happen the coming night.
"Wait, where's he?" the same girl as earlier asked her close friend who was shaking in fear of what she had also noticed. Edgar wasn't on the floor anymore. He was gone, all gone and no one noticed. Then, blood. The whole classroom was covered in blood, not as someone had painted it but as if someone had stabbed one another. There were signs of that in some places, those drops had not been there just one minute ago. Neither had those bodies been so lifeless there on the floor just a minute ago. And they shouldn't be covered in blood either.
