Chapter I

3rd person

Michael, her brother, shouted, " Wow, this is such a good book! Shawna you should read this. I just finished it! It's about a woman who could control the ocean and animals!" Shawna said "Sure, the other book you recommended to me was a great book so this must be to! What is is called?'' Michael responds "command of the oceans with the free novella called command of the animals.'' He gives the book to Shawna and then he goes to his room to start his homework.

When it was finally her bedtime she had finished half the book. She was about halfway done with it and loved it! Her brother really did have good taste in books.

"Shawna" Victor called "It is past your bedtime, lights out!" Shawna called back " May I finish this page? I know it is my first day of highschool tomorrow but I won't be able to sleep not knowing what happens to Marid." Her mum,Lorna, called " Sweetie your father asked you to turn your lights out." Shawna hated when her mom did that. All she wanted to know was if Marid saved the world or if she died with out succeeding. What was wrong with that? "Okay mum" and then she got up slowly and turned her lights out. She fell asleep with a whisper of a tear.
