Adira was walking back to the orphanage from school when she saw the wolf. It was sleek and silver, with blue eyes. She thought it was just hunting a deer, so she didn't pay much attention to it, for wolves were common in Upstate New York.
But when she reached the orphanage, she saw the same wolf, now she was beginning to get frightened. She opened the door and went inside, making sure to lock it. The kids inside made fun of her, like usual, so she dashed into her room, and locked that door too.
After a few minutes of thinking of places she'd rather be than here, she heard a weird scratching noise on her door. She thought it was other kids trying to scare her, so she got up to tell them to knock it off.
When she opened the door, she saw a wolf, the same one she saw earlier. She screamed, then shut the door and tried to climb out the window. After much struggling, she got out and ran. "Someone help!" Adira shouted, hoping someone was nearby to hear her call. Then she saw the wolf again, charging at her. She ran, knowing her chances of getting away are feeble, and in about 5 seconds, he caught up to her.
The wolf tackled her and bared his teeth. She struggled and struggled, then she punched the wolf and ran away again, this time hoping for success.
She ran and ran to animal control, hoping they were still there. She turned back to see if the wolf was following her, and it was. She ran faster than she's ever ran before, and Adira got to animal control just in time. She closed the door on the wolf, and shouted, "There's a wolf chasing me!" And three people got up to catch the wolf.
When they left, a brown haired, green eyed, tall boy came in that looked in his teens. He started to walk up to her, then he started to glow. It got brighter and brighter, then it suddenly stopped, and where he was standing, was a wolf.
