falling in love

Chapter 1 Monday

There are so many things i wanna do before i die. Like skydiving, and become famous, swim with the sharks etc. but to be more realistic i just wanna fall in love. I wanna look into someones eyes and think this is the one, this is the one i want to spend the rest of my life with, someone who can deal with all my scars and all my flaws. I want someone to look at me and think this is the only girl i need. So this is my goal for my senior year. I melony Scarlette s am going to fall in love this year.

My name is Scarlette (actually my name is melony but everyone calls me by my middle name) i'm 17 years old, and i'm a typical teenage girl not any different from the rest, I have brown hair and brown eyes, i have freckles and i'm kinda chunky but besides that i look like all the other girls. Not very pretty but not ugly. I'm....decent. My best friend's name is hannah rae kindley. She's GORGEOUS! She has thick blond hair and light blue eyes. Her skin is flawless. She's never had a pimple in her life. She's tall and thin. To be completely honest i've always had a crush on her. Oh did i forget to tell you? i'm BI!

"Hey scar there's something i've been wanting to tell you, my parents are gone for the weekend i was thinking you could come over and we could chill. You know if you want to." Hanna has always been so sweet and kind. she always make sure i want to hang befor she gets her hopes up.

"Yeah i'll be there. My parents wont care i just don't tell them your parents are gone" my parents are really strict. It took them 4 years before they stopped reading my messages. Yeah i just talked my mom into giving me a parent free facebook.

"Good because I have the whole weekend planned out for your senior project. Ill tell you all the details Friday night when, wait, excuse me, if you come over that is."

"Hannah Banana you know I will be able to come over my parents love you like the daughter they never had." my parents hate me they don't care about me they only care about my little brother Max. or as i like to call him maxipad.they treat him like a god; like the world revolves around him. It is so unfair because it's not like he's their real son my parents can no longer have kids after me they were lucky I was even born. I think that's why my parents hate me, well at least that's why my mom hates me my dad hates me because i'm BI.

"Ok well I'll see you tonight scar!" hannah screamed across the room so everyone could hear her as she walked out the door.

First and second hour go by fast, I mean it's only English and Math. third hour is gym with Mr.T he's THE BEST GYM TEACHER EVER! Plus he's super hot. But that's not important gym is where i meet him. The new guy, the guy i'm gonna fall in love with!

He's all alone so i walk up and introduce myself "Hey i'm scar what's your name?"

"scar ? is the short for scarlette? That's a beautiful name suit for a beautiful girl such as yourself. My name is Carter Matthews."

"Well carter matthews, how many girls have you used that pick up line on today? Let me guess at least three am i right?"

Actually you're the first girl that's had the nerve to walk up to me all day. So far i've seen six girls and their friends stare, giggle, and whisper."

"Yeah that must really suck being so good looking and having all the girls fight over you the first day."

Yeah too bad the one girl that i'm into doesn't seem to be into me all that much, and that's too bad because i would love to get to know her; maybe tonight i would love it if someone could show me around town?"

"Are you asking me on a date?'

" If i was would that be a yes?"

"Of course, i would love too."

"Good i'll see you tonight. Meet me here in the school parking lot 5/5:30 ish?"

"It's a date." so this was the beginning of my perfect week.
