The Broken Mutation (Book 1)

Why?

"Silverwolf! You can't go in there! He will kill you." The little wolf girl cried, tears filled her eyes.
"Leia, you know I have to... It's either you or me," Silverwolf spoke, trying to walk forward confidence shining in her eyes.

"If you go in there you will be killed, let me go." Leia walked forward, pushing her friend back. Silverwolf smiled sadly and grabbed her friend's wrist. The two pulled into a hug.

"Leia.....good luck..."

Leia nodded, walking through the large doors. It was dim, but the torches on the wall made it feel creepier. There were ninjas in black with a foot emblem on their shoulders. Shedder was watching as the seven year old pup walked in. Her tiny wolf ears flat against her head. Her eyes glistened brown, showing two emotions. Fear and confidence.

"Leia how dare you walk in here unannounced!" The Shredder boomed overhead. The little girl began to shake, feeling it would be better to morph, "To stop you, Shredder. You're not gonna take over the city." She felt her small tail in between her legs. She looked at the ninjas standing, staring blankly at her.

"SILENCE!" He stood and she morphed. Her other form was that of a regular wolf, but she was 6 feet tall and easily came up to Shredder's nose. The young she wolf growled in his face. He grabbed her muzzle and made her look at him, "Your father should have trained his daughter to obey my command."

Leia quivered, "Dont talk about my father." As she thought this, her wolf form became unsure of what to do. Shredder chuckled, throwing the huge wolf to the ground.
"You shall feel pain just like he did," he spoke as she unmorphed back to the human wolf she was. Leia felt the memory of her father's funeral. She looked up, realizing the sad truth of what really happened to her father.

"Nooo. Your lying!" He smirked, walking over to the the girl. He stopped seeing a flicker of pale blue eyes in the distance. His eyes not moveing from the small humanoid jackel. "Kill Silverwolf".

Leia looked up as he said that, running over and grabbing his cape.
"NO! DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO ME, BUT LEAVE HER ALONE!" she yelled. The Shredder was about to kill Silverwolf himself when he realized there was a much greater opportunity. He nodded and smirked, looking into the scientist's eyes beside him.

"Very well, take them both to the lab."

"What happened," Leia said waking from her slumber "I'm safe..!" She looked around her hospital room. "Ugh, another dream..." She thought and laid back down, out of breath. "What am I gonna do?"
