Crybaby

She wears her heart upon her sleeve.

sensitive, hurt ,

her emotions are fleeting she cries with the breeze.

she cares too much, so much sometimes she can hardly breathe.

I locked my heart away in a cage made of steel,

don't cry dear,

my heart isn't real.

walk through the world shoulders stiff, head high.

a cry baby who can laugh,

Sensitive

yet she smiles, most the time.

she wears her heart for the world to see,

she wears her heart upon her sleeve and it's so big so overwhelmingly kind.

I lock my heart away, isolated and alone.

don't cry, I can't smile,

I'm strong

so strong, if you can call it that

what went wrong

in this world where a girl swathed in light is weak and I, yes me, am strangled by shadows and considered strong.

so wrong.

wrong is the world.

For I locked my heart up without a plea, and threw away the key

Such a long time ago.
