Finally, I was able to obtain a job. I get to work as a nighttime security guard at this Pizzeria.  I was told that it is a competition between Chuck E Cheeses. I pull out my newspaper and look back up on my new job. "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Looking for a night guard to work until 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Payment includes $120 for one week. Not responsible for injury/dismemberment. To call, dial 1-888-Fazbears"

I read over this information carefully. "Not responsible for injury or dismemberment, huh? This is a children's place. What could possibly go wrong?" I ask myself. I go to my room and pick up my purple uniform given to me at orientation. "What an ugly colored uniform. At least no one will see me wearing it." I mumble under my breath as I begin to change into the drafty clothes. I glance at the clock that sits on my nightstand. 11:45. "It takes about eight minutes to get there, I should go ahead and leave."

When I get into my car, I crank it a few times to get the old motor running. "Come on, just start already." I give it one last crank and then the motor shakes the car and finally starts up. I drive all the way to the Pizzeria and observe my surroundings before I get there. I never realized how quiet it could be at nighttime. Then again, it is almost 12:00 a.m., people should be asleep at this point.

I arrive at the Pizzeria within six minutes; two minutes earlier than usual. I give myself a mental pat-on-the-back. I look at the clock on my car. 11:55 p.m. "Good, just in time." I get out of my car and grab my coffee mug that I had brought. I'm going to need some energy to keep me awake. I pull out the key that I was given earlier and unlock the door. When I walk in, the smell of pizza and soda fill my nostrils. I get a sense of comfort and I close the door behind me. Since it was my first day, the staff had welcomed me and made me some pizza for my first night and left the fountain drink machine on.

I lock the door before walking further into the Pizzeria. The floor is a black and white checkered design and the walls have multiple drawings of the restaurants mascots. Most were poorly drawn representations of the children's visits and what they had saw that day. One drawing had gotten my attention. I walk up to it and observe the drawing. It has the mascots surrounding a child and they appear to be singing a song. The yellow chicken-like mascot has a cupcake in her hand that has a candle sticking out of the top. There are words above her that says, "Bring Cake to the Kids." When I look up, I see a stage and detect movement.
