The village was calm and peaceful, the wind blew steadily throughout the village as birds soared high happily chirping. Alas, the silence was broken as Kyo, a young boy who started ninja academy today, ran throughout the village causing mischief wherever he went.

"Hey wake up everyone today I start ninja academy!!"

exclaimed Kyo.

"Kyo! Quiet down would ya!"

yelled old man Riku, a local man and the owner of Kyo's favorite restaurant "Ikigami's".

" Yeah, cmon Kyo shut up! It's only 9 in the morning!"

shouted Natsumi, a fellow classmate of Kyo and the Hokage's niece

Kyo didn't bother to listen instead he continued to run right through the village as angry and annoyed citizens chased after him

"Haha, you can't catch me!!"

Yelled Kyo

The crowd of angry citizens muttered rude sayings toward Kyo and continued to chase after him. Kyo then made a sharp right turn and ran right into an old man causing the old man's hat to fall to the ground.

"Hey watch where you're going!

Barked Kyo

"can't you see I'm running for my lif-"

Kyo then stopped talking as the old man bent over and dusted off his hat

"Oh I'm sorry I never meant to get in the middle of all this"

Replied the old man with a happy attitude

The old man's then turned the hand to the backside to continue dusting it off. As he was doing do a symbol was shown on the hat

"Wait a second... I know that symbol... "

Said Kyo

The old man places the hat on again and glared at Kyo. At that very moment, Kyo realized something.

"W-wait a second... You're the Hokage!"

Said Kyo in shock

The old man smiled and replied

"That I am..."

Suddenly the crowds echoing voices and stomping feet grew closer and closer

"oh no, you gotta help me!"

Panicked Kyo as he ran behind the old man

"Hey, there he is!"

Yelled the crowd as they raced towards Kyo and came to halt seeing him behind the Hokage

"What's all the fuss?"

Asked the old man

"That kid vandalized my store!"

"He ruined my garden!"

"He woke the babies up!

Yelled people within the crowd

The old man looked at the boy as he quivered in fear and then back at the crowd

"This young one?"

Asked the old man

The old man looked down at Kyo and closed his eyes and thought to himself for a bit. Then as he opened his eyes and brought his gaze back to the crowd he said

"I'll deal with the boy"

Said the old man

"What?! You? No way! That kid ruined my wife's garden there's no way I'm letting some old man deal with this!"

Yelled Man Shiro, a man that wasn't typically happy and always had a bone to pick with someone. As Shiro yelled he made his way to the front of the crowd and came right in front of the old man and yelled

"Now you listen to me I don't care if you are the Hokage I'm teaching this kid a lesson and that's that!"

As Shiro yelled he grabbed the old man's cloak to intimidate him. In less than 2 seconds of him holding his cloak 6 men dressed in long hoods and wearing masked shot out of trees and surrounded Shiro all with kunai knives and shurikens aimed at Shiro. The crowd was stunned with fear of what would happen next. Kyo peered from behind the old man and looked at the men in fear. Shiro looked back at the men and brought his gaze back to the old man.

"You're lucky you have those men."

Muttered Shiro to the Hokage. Shiro let go of the old man's cloak and turned away pushing through the men in hoods and the crowd Shiro, as frustrated as he was walked away.

"Sir are you alright?"

Asked one of the masked men.

"yes, thank you... "

The 6 men looked at each other and nodded then shot back into the bushes in the blink of an eye as if they had vanished.

"The rest of you go back to your places. I'll handle the boy."

Said the old man to the crowd. The crowd then muttered together and walked away.

"As for you..."

Said the old man turning to Kyo. Kyo took a big gulp in fear of what the old man was going to say.

"Y-yes?"

Replied Kyo. The old man sighed and looked at the boy thinking what to do.

"I want you to walk with me."

Said the old man

"Walk with you? But I start ninja academy today I'll be late."

Replied Kyo

"Don't worry I'll walk you there so you don't get any more trouble."

Said the old man. Kyo looked down and walked with the old man.
