Monday:
Beep, beep, beep. I smacked my alarm so hard I grimaced as throbbing pain shot my palm. Great way to start my day, I thought.

Half - heartedly I glimpsed out my window, not bothering to check the time, to see if the sun rose yet. The incandescent gleaming light of the sun illuminated my darkened room. I hissed as the beams penetrated my squinting eyes, I rubbed my eyes as if to remove the beams of light like it was a tangible thing. Reluctantly, I drawed my curtains and slumped back to my bed.

The corners of my mouth pulled a slight smile of relief, when suddenly, my door flew open and my brother stomped his way in. I pulled the covers over my head, muffling his attempts of waking me up. There was a long pause before I felt the covers being yanked from my grip and hauled to the floor. I looked up to see my brother's droopy, annoying face, whispering in a loud tone to get up.

"All right, all right, I'm up", I surrender in a sigh.

He left the room exactly the way he came in - storming out.

My feet dragged on the floor, pulling my groggy body to the bathroom. I stared at myself in the mirror. Hideous, and disgusting. I was a hot mess, but I knew I was going to clear it up anyways. I dismissed the thought and quickly brushed my teeth, while remembering my science double lesson today. I squealed with joy, and I pulled out my best uniform and tie and carefully got dressed, making sure that my uniform was impeccable and not creased. I decided on letting my hair down, a long and wavy dark brown silky texture that accentuated my nut brown eyes. Debating on whether to put on glossy clear lip gloss, I packed my bag and headed out the door.

I didn't notice until it was too late that I had forgotten my bus card; silly old clumsy me. I'll just end up being marked absent, but really, I couldn't give a damn.

The bus arrived shortly after, and I took a step in, flashing my bus conductor a smile which is the I-forgot-my-bus-card smile. She glared at me with dissapointing eyes. Ouch. I sat down in my usual seat- the far end at the back- and greeted my friend Alex, mouthing her a hello. She has large dark rimmed dorky glases, long wavy hair like mine, although black and dip dyed with red. She has matching red braces that highlight her teeth; surly a pretty girl.

The bus ride is extremely monotonous, so I reach inside my bag and pull out my book, Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. She's an extraordinary writer and I'm a huge fan of her trilogy, The Hunger Games.
A book set in a corrupted goverment in a dystopian society while a 16 year old girl fights for her life to save the ones she loves.

Only a few minutes later, the bus reduced its speed and I only lifted my head just a little to see what happened, only to realise we were parking in the bus parking lot. I sighed and cursed again, desperately wanting to continue reading my book. I hesitantly stuffed the book back in my bag and walked down the bus aisle, assuring not to make eye contact with the bus conductor although I could see the disappointed look from the corner of my eye.

I briskly walked across the field to avoid my skin being exposed too much, since my skin is a light caramel brown and I do not want roast under the sun. I sheilded my eyes and stared far ahead identifying my two best friends, Irene and Holly, from the monochrome uniforms that the students were wearing.

I guesd they recognized me back, because Irene's face frantically lit up while looking towards my direction.

I smiled a friendly smile and walked up to her as she was gesturing me to come over at the bench.

"Hi, Sam", Irene greeted joyfully. She has really long curly hair; fair and light brown and light brown eyes hidden behined black and gold rimmed glasses.

"Hey, Sam", Holly greeted casually. She has short, straight black hair, almost goth like, and dark brown eyes, nearly black. Quite odd, because her personality is cheery and jubilant.

We spent the rest of our time talking about how we spent our weekends; I spent mine writing fanfics on my perfect life that I could never have.

As soon as the bell rang, indicating form time, I grabbed my bag and dragged my never ending chatty friends up to class. All the way up the stairs, we joked, laughed, and teased each other till our breaths couldn't handle anymore.

The air was still and the deafening silence swarmed the room. Our form teacher was quite strict however highly respected at all times. Soon, the bell rang once more, interupting the silence, as we discreetly dismissed ourselves.

Math is our first lesson; I honestly abhor math than any other student in this class. I always failed math or flunked it, regardless of what chapter, it always appears to be rocket science when I attempt it (I bet you it is).

The day prolonged and seemed to be infinite, but I held on for the last lesson and most amusing part of the day: Science.

I sigh of relief escaped my moth before even realising it did. Science lessons were more laid back and easy going because of my favourite teacher, Mr. White.

He is also charming and has a captivating smile, and indefinitely smart, which is what I admired most about him. Frankly, I would've never considered science to be my most favoured subject if it wasn't for him. Its a world full of mysteries, wonders and miracles - just like him.
