        "So what did you get on that pop quiz?"My friend Megan asked me,we were at our lockers getting books for our next classes."I got a A,what about you?"I had to study real hard because math wasn't my best subject.But before Megan could answer her boyfriend Nick walked over to us.I've always had feelings for Nick but I knew he probably didn't feel the same way,and he's Megan's boyfriend."Hey baby,"Nick says while giving Megan a kiss."So what are you guys doing tonight?"He asks us."Nothing really,"I reply."Yeah same,"Megan smiled at him."Ok well wanna go to this cool party at Erick?"He asked us.I didn't really know Erick, but I heard that he is the biggest player in the school."I'll come,"Megan said then she looked at me."Yeah I'll come too I guess."So we decide that Nick was going to pick Megan and I up from Megan's later.

Later on Nick picks Megan and I up from Megan's.Megan is wearing a short black dress with big hoop earrings,her long blond hair was curled and she had some red lipstick on.I wore a crop top with a short skirt and some high heels that made me 5'7.We show up to the party and it's already crazy!I mean there is some people passed out on the couch..Megan and her boyfriend are upstairs and I'm sitting at a table in the kitchen talking to some of my other friends.I decide to go upstairs and search for Megan.I find Nick,"Hey where's Megan,"I ask."Oh oh o-her yeah I don't really know",he's says while I immediately pick up that he's drunk."What the hell,"I tell him."Your supposed to be our ride home!!"Then he looks me in the eye and says something I was never ever expecting."I love you Melanie,"he tells me."I just can't break Megan's heart and I know you don't feel the same.." I look at him and give him a confused look.Even thought inside I felt really happy..I know he doesn't mean to tell me this because he's drunk so..I decide pretend that he never told me that."Come on let's go,"I say acting like he said nothing.It was kind of weird to me that he said that.I mean we are good friends but I never thought he would ever feel the same way I did about him.The next day at school things went back to normal.

At lunch I sat with all my friends.We all usually sit at the same table.With Megan,Nick,Brianna,Michael,Brandon,and me(Melanie)."Ugh,"I say to Michael when I sit down and hear him telling our friends about him hooking up with the biggest bitch in school.Her name is Jessica and she's really popular but also really mean.."Hey Melanie,"Nick called to me."I need to talk to you after lunch."I try to hide my blush and I think I do because I don't get any strange looks.
