Brody took a swing towards Doug and the sickening sound of a clean nose break echoed across the field. "Don't touch me." She fumed silently as Doug sat on the floor holding his nose sobbing. "you bitch." He wailed with pain. Alpha growled at them both. "Both of you cut it out and get your work done." Alpha Nuka warned sternly. His girlfriend was sat nearby laughing her head off, looking pained "that was the funniest thing ever!"

From where I was sat, that was all I could see. Doug wails got a little louder as Brody stood on his ankle, she didn't weigh much but enjoyed making Doug suffer in pain. Nuka was cuddling Brylee, my sister whereas Nuka's brother, Alec, was nowhere to be seen. Brody and Doug had shifted into they're wolf forms and were circling each other, jaws snapping and growling. Nuka was ignoring the wolves but watching now and then.

The Silverback Echoes were a small pack living north in the woods, there were five of us living under one roof and attended a local college. Right now, this wasn't exactly the place for a wolf fight. Sighing, I stood up and grabbed Doug by the scruff, "Sit. Now." I ordered. He immediately sat his ass on the floor. Brody sat opposite him with the killer gleam in her amber eyes. "Shift back before the rest of this class sees you."

They both shifted back after that. "your nose looks better by the way Doug." I noted. Werewolves heal quickly and their strength is abnormal. Alphas and Betas are strongest, then comes the Deltas, then the omegas. Doug was an omega; Brody was the delta. Nuka was the Alpha; Brylee was his mate but he needed to ask her parents for permission first. I was beta rank. Pretty pathetic for a Beta though; Nuka's brother had a better grip of the pack.

My phone buzzed. "Hi mom, yeah were all good over here. Nope, no we don't need that...." Moms voice was taken from my ear as Brylee took the phone. "Bry, that's my phone." She didn't listen as she gossiped on to mom about Nuka. Brody and Doug decided to chat along nicely for a change and Nuka looked a little dazed and confused. Thank god this is a workshop lesson and we're allowed out of the room, I thought. We had hidden out on the field to do a little training that we couldn't fit in after college. "Do I call you brother Nuka now or should I stick with Alpha bitch?" I smirked, walking over to my 'sisters' mate. "Nah, I'm still Nuka." He smiled. Such a softie, for a bulky lad anyway. "Good, none of this 'Alpha' business around me." I laughed.

"Your mom wants you back now, had enough girl talk for one day." Bry laughed and rubbed noses with Nuka. "Only because you don't want your parents to kill the poor boy." Was all I heard when I put the phone to my ear. "How are you mom?" I asked. She ranted about her neighbours and my brothers, also my step dads untimely habit of screwing up her washing piles then asked me about my day. "Alec is in class and I'm supposed to be in lesson but were doing some training before we head home." At the mention of Alec, she asked when he was next going to join me in my visit to see them all. "I don't know mom, I have to ask him, but I won't see him till later." After that she went on some more about the house and my brothers then decided to hang up because she was burning dinner.

"Thank god that's over." I sighed, putting the phone back in my pocket. Everyone had their bags, so I was guessing it was time for our other lesson. "It's time to go, I'm hungry and I want food." Brylee said as she looked at Nuka with loving smile. "So let's head to the shop then and get food." Doug suggested, with Brody agreeing. "I'll meet you at class. If that's alright with you guys?" I asked.

"That's fine, see you in a little while." Nuka waved me off and wrapped an arm around Brys waist pulling her closer which made her giggle a little. Brody nodded and Doug simply smiled. "If I need you, I will ring you." I parted ways with them and headed towards the opening in the fence, the only access into the field. But when I got to the next class I spotted the girls that hated our little pack, holding a phone with a sickly smile painted across her face.

"Amberlynn, can you explain this please?" She asked, pointing the phone at me. One of my many baby photos on my mother's Facebook page was open on her screen. "It's a baby picture Charley, Don't act dumb. I know it looks awful." I pushed passed and entered the class. Only Brody and Doug were in this class with me, most of the time it was only Brody and I because Doug often skipped this class. It was pretty boring.

More sniggers from the back of the classroom reached my ears as they looked through the album of ridiculous photos from Halloween when I was eight. A small and fat girl with a little boy's haircut and pathetic costume of a witch. Brody and Doug entered the classroom after about 15 minutes of torture. They were the obvious, popular pack that enjoyed torture. Although, sometimes a few of their members were quite nice. But if not, then the classroom became a warzone.

Only half of the class were wolves, the others were not. At the moment it was the humans who were torturing, the other wolves were not bothered as they sat huddled discussing stuff which didn't concern us. Brody gave one of the humans her famous 'drop-dead' looks and they started whispering, probably planning how to Photoshop my face as usual. This behaviour would continue all the way through class till we were reunited with the rest of our tiny little pack. Bry joined us as she was in most of our lessons, Nuka and Alec were the year above.

"Alec joined us after you left. He had Cody and Dan with him. He seemed displeased with Dan though." Bry chuckled a little. Dan was the scary kid no-one wanted to know or talk to. He was crazy and enjoyed winking at other alphas girls to start fights. I often caught him looking at the other packs omega, Lizzy, who didn't want Dan but had her heart set on Nuka. Which was amusing to see.

"Sooner or later Alec's going to strangle Dan..." I laughed. He often tells me about his day and Dan comes up sometimes if he was annoyed. Cody was Alec's best friend if you needed Alec you had to get hold of Cody. But if you couldn't get hold of either of them, you had to contact Cody's' mate, Maddy. Just imagining the fight between Alec and Dan made me shiver. Dan was physically bulkier than Alec and that scared me slightly, but I had total faith that Alec would kill him.

We walked towards or next class, chatting aimlessly between us, Doug trailing behind making points about which packs did what and how we should help. Us girls were talking about what colour to paint the bathroom so we ignored Doug's opinions as usual. "Doug, we can talk about that later, when we get home and don't have other alphas listening in with their human spies."
