Forbidden Daughter 1

AN: Crystal at the top! By the way, I am really excited about this story as I am a huge fan of Percy Jackson stories so here it goes! :) The new characters that re going to be introduced are going to be Jack and Francisco. Their character pictures will be coming soon!

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock beeping. Just after it had only been on for like 5 seconds, my dad burst in with that annoyed look on his face. 

"GET UP AND GET READY FOR SCHOOL!!" He yelled.

 "OKAY, OKAY I GET IT GIVE ME A MINUTE!!" I snapped back.

 Ugh my life. How wonderful. Not. I sighed and walked over to my closet to grab some clothes for the day. I did not feel like dressing up, so I grabbed a pair of leggings, a coral colored long sleeve Simply Southern shirt and my white All Star Converse and went into the bathroom to get ready. Once I was dressed, I brushed my teeth and put my hair into a messy, but cute bun on top of my head because I did not feel like straightening my long auburn colored hair. Once I finished doing my hair and makeup, I ran downstairs to grab my Tenor Saxophone and backpack. Great all ready for another day of jail.. I mean 7th grade. I finally was ready so I grabbed all of my stuff and walked out the door and started walking to my bus stop. On the way to the bus stop, I met up with one of my only friends, Jack. 

"Sup Jack," I called. 

"Not much, just going to jail..I mean school," He said.

 I laughed, "Same!!" I said.

 Jack and I both understood what it was like to be outcasts. The popular girls had it out for me for some reason and had gotten me almost expelled towards the beginning of the year. Since then, no other incidences had occurred which was really weird.

"So I found out that-" Jack started to say before he just stopped and shook his head. 

"What?" I asked. 

He looked at me with pain in his eyes. "I wish I could tell you but I cannot" Jack said, "It is the rules."

 "What rules?" I asked. 

"Nothing now leave it alone!" He snapped, then recovered, "I'm sorry that was not very nice." 

"It's alright. I was being pushy again." I said.

 We walked in silence until we got to the bus stop, where the bus was waiting. We got on the bus and ended up arriving on time to the jail. The first part of my day was actually pretty uneventful until I got to enrichment in Mr. Reddersen's class. He was just teaching us about the important events of the French Revolution when He looked at me in a creepy way. Suddenly, his voice grew very deep and as he was doing some type of shifting.

 He yelled, "I've got you, Daughter of Artemis!"

 I looked around bewildered. I knew who Artemis was but she could not have a daughter. What was he talking about? My social studies teacher changed into what I knew was a manticore. Just as he lunged for me, I heard a defiant yell and saw two kids jump between the manticore and I. Once I was able to get a clear look at them I gasped. Standing in front of me fighting the manticore with one jet black sword and one bronze sword  were the two very familiar faces of Jack and Francisco. With the two powerful fighters working together, the manticore did not stand a chance. The swords met on his neck, hitting at the same time and disintegrating the huge monster. 

They both turned towards me and said,  "Daughter of the Forbidden Goddess, we are honored to be the ones to lead you on your way to your destiny."

 What the Hell is happening?
