Hey guys!!! This is my first story that will have multiple chapters so it's probably going to be a little weird... But I hope you enjoy!
Key: (e/c)- your eye color (h/c)- your hair color (h/l)- your hair length (f/c)- favorite color
You were sitting on the bus to go home while listening to (insert favorite song). People in the back of the bus were fighting, as usual, and you simply ignored them. All of a sudden a water bottle was thrown across the bus and it his you in the back of the head, making your (f/c) headphones fall off. You weren't usually one to get into fights but this was the last straw. You had been teased this year so much and you were sick of it.
You snapped your head to the back of the bus with an annoyed look upon your face. "Who threw that?" You said, anger starting to surface. Everyone just sat still and stared at you. You repeated yourself almost yelling,"I said, WHO threw that?" A few people pointed to a boy sitting in the very back with his head down and his jacket hood over his head. You stood up from your seat and took a few steps toward him before he looked up at you. His eyes were a piercing yellowish-green color. They were so bright that they seemed to glow. His hair was pitch black and his skin was pale. He smirked and simply said,"Well, well I see you finally stood up for yourself." By this time it was your stop, you angrily grabbed your backpack and headphones and got off the bus.
When you entered the front door, you dropped your backpack and plopped onto the couch. Your (h/c) hair covered your eyes. Your dog, Jacky, came over to you and sat down. Jacky was a large husky that almost looked like a fictional dog you read about in a scary story. Jacky quietly licked your face and whined. It's almost as if Jacky always knows what your thinking. You playfully patted his head and walked to the kitchen. There was a note on the counter. You read it out loud,"Sweetheart, we'll be back tomorrow! We had to go to the hospital because one of your fathers friend was in a terrible car crash. We'll see you soon! We both love you! - Mom and Dad." You sighed and went to your room. Your parents were almost always away. The first time they left you home alone, you were ten. You opened your bedroom door and sighed. Your blue curtains lightened up the (f/c) walls and made the room seem like it was glowing. You sat on your bed. Jacky followed you and laid down on the floor. You pondered what the boy meant by "finally standing up for yourself" Had he been watching you at school? Had he known you had been teased? Ha-. Your thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. You quickly ran down stairs and looked out the from window. It was the police. Without hesitation, you jumped up, ran to the door and opened it. You were nervous and managed to stutter out," H-hello officer, can I help you?" Police made you nervous, you never knew why. Maybe it was because they held so much power above you. The policeman looked at you and said,"Are your parents home?" You looked down and replied shyly,"No sir." The policeman sighed and stated,"There has been a murder nearby and we just wondered if you saw or heard anything." A murder!? You thought to yourself. There was a murder in my neighborhood? You quickly brushed your (h/l), (h/c) out of your face and muttered,"N-no sir I haven't s-seen or heard anything." The policeman simply smiled," A bit nervous? Well I was too first time I was questioned by the police. Thank you young lady, we'll be going now." They left and you turned around to see Jacky standing at the foot of the stairs and looking at you. You walked over to him and hugged him. He was the only one who really seemed to understand you truly. You walked back upstairs to your room and dropped onto the bed, crossing your legs, and turning on your tv. You wondered to yourself, 'could that boy and the murder be connected? Could that really be true? You quickly got that thought out of your head and just watched tv.
A few hours later you made some noodles and watched some Netflix with your dog. You finished your noodles and brushed your teeth, put pajamas on, and got into bed.
You jerked awake by the sound of a crash downstairs. Jacky sprung up too. You got out of bed, your pajamas, which were really a baggy black t-shirt and some blue shorts, swayed as your fan blew on you. You grabbed your knife that was under your pillow and slowly walked downstairs. You had always kept a steak knife under your pillow ever since you read about "Jeff the Killer". Jacky quickly followed behind you. Taking in sharp breaths, you looked in the kitchen and saw a man, he turned around. It was the boy from the bus.
